They will ship, it will be late, but they will ship.  Then there will be an outcry from all those who didnt jump in at the start thats its so unfair.

I ordered one but didn't send the BTC in time so it timed out. When I went back to find another address it would not give me the old one, or create a new one.

It seems that this did not convince me it was a scam because I just thought I'd order another one, when I did it would not include the postage as it seemed to think I'd already paid... very strange.

So I emailed them,

"I really want to order one of these" I was happy to wait three or six months if the units would do as promised... sadly it seems I might wait that long for a reply to my email.

a week now... still waiting

The problem I have with BFL is that even though they couldn't be more behind, they're still actively advertising. Give me a break.

Why would they do that one must ponder?

Anyone placing new orders for these thinking they are going to get them sometime this year are delusional.

You will not make money on these if you order now, if you ordered less than 45 days ago then claim a paypal refund while you can.

I'm giving these guys 2 more weeks and I'm going to cancel my orders.

I read about their problems - but I had hope they would come through.
It's just too much money to be tied up indefinitely.

Please understand that I have kept up with the facts and made my decision to pre-order after I waited a good amount of time to collect the data I needed to feel comfortable enough with the risks.

If you really kept up with the facts and did your due diligence, you would find out that the President of Butterfly Labs, Sonny Vleisides, is a felon. He was convicted of running a mail fraud racket that, over six years, stole $20 million from the elderly and naive. These scams went by names like Shamrock Agency, German Swiss Group and World Expert Fund. His business partner at the time, Dennis Emmet, is now in jail for MURDER. He shot a guy IN THE FACE after getting into an argument.

These are facts, not libel. Google his name and read the affidavit. Even if they are legitimately creating a product, look at his past business practices, who he associates himself with, and ask yourself seriously if they are worthy of your hard-earned money. This company has not delivered for a year and is run by a former con artist. Any newbies thinking about pre-ordering need to take this into consideration.

Read it before.

Did we impeach Bill Clinton? His immoral choices did not stop us from letting him reside over the most recent economic surplus in US history?

Just sayin'... everyone deserves a chance to show they learned from their mistakes... and if he is operating then SOMEONE in the justice system signed off on it.

Exactly. I'm glad someone said it.

So now that he's proven himself once again to be a fraud, criminal, and scammer, we'll all just agree to call it what it is: a criminal enterprise designed to defraud people.

I would buy one but for the fact that only Jalapeno has been shipped. No way to calculate what level of difficulty you will encounter when you finally receive the machine. If they aren't in prison before.

But then again their are other coins you could use it on.

I really hope it's not a scam, as I've bought in pretty heavily, and I'm just sitting here lamenting how quickly the difficulty and aggregate hashrate are skyrocketing.

I ordered 2 jalapenos in August and thought that there was no way that they wouldn't deliver by the end of the year and I told myself I was going to cancel my order at the end of the year. In January, I decided to give BFL the benefit of the doubt and I only refunded one of my jalapenos. Now it's almost 10 months since I ordered. I don't have much to lose so I'm keeping my jalapeno order but this is just BS. What really pisses me off is that at the beginning of this month they put out an e-mail saying they are shipping and got everyone excited but they haven't shipped a damn thing since that e-mail.

If anyone has seen some of the prices the early pre-ordered BFL miners are going for on ebay, you might conclude that a better business model was just to make  a bunch of $700 pre-orders and then sell them 10 months later for 10 times the price Smiley
