An editorial that makes some good points (at least it is serious about it) and some stupid points but is written from mainstream thought. Therefore, it misses the opportunity to turn some of the thinking upside down. Food for thought: what if the price of a US Dollar is or will be measured in Bitcoin instead of Bitcoin being priced in US Dollars?

Main point: Bitcoin can serve to evade capital controls. What I miss in the article is the sense that Bitcoin could evolve into a stable numeraire. Something much wanted in our nightmare of floating paper money with artificially low interest rates.
