Minimum bid will start at 0.01BTC. Bidding will be done in 0.01BTC increments. Shipping will be $30 for US and $50 for International bidders. This will be added to the winning bid after the auction.(ID will be required upon delivery for pickup) for both domestic U.S. and international customers. Bitcoin is the only accepted form of payment for this auction. Coins for this auction will ship out by August 20th, 2015.

One other note is that the hologram is off centered on purpose given the difference in the layout of LEALANA coin metal recess under the holograms when compared to CASASCIUS metal recess placement.

THESE COINS ARE BUYER FUNDED. The winner by bidding on this auction will accept the risks involved with shipping funded coins through USPS registered mail. The coins will be valued at the price paid plus the bitcoin that is loaded on to them. I think this might be why the window on the hologram looks a bit funky on this 5BTC coin.

Just know that it won't be perfectly centered given the difference in the way Casascius coins are minted (placement of the recess under the hologram).

1) face value of the coin is 5BTC so it makes sense
2) the holo is already applied and can't be re-marked as "BUYER FUNDED", so it would have to be funded to full amount to be able to match both criteria.

I get that it's the face value, but I figured that you could have just left it up to the buyer to decide to fund it.

If the laser etching is done after than it would be possible to laser buyer funded.  Being this isnt the case with this coin im sure its by design.  Maybe there will only be 1 funded and he will make multiple buyer funded ones later maybe not.  Could be a multitude of reasons that maybe smoothie can share on this thread so possible buyers will understand more clearly.

I'd like to know his formula for buyer funded versus not, as well.  I have bought many coins from smoothie both buyer funded and not and I'm not sure what it is.  I have noticed that he insists that his more specialty items are funded.  Before he offered the "roll of dimes" I had asked him to put one together for me and I think he insisted I pre-fund them.  I've bought tubes of brass from him and if I don't care what I get, he doesn't seem to care if it's funded or not.  It's hard to tell.

I always thought the buyer funded clause was based on a USD threshold being mailed through USPS. I could've misinterpreted that from a long time ago last time this came up, more than likely it's just a personal stipulation of smoothie's.
