I'm about to give up on this coin. It has very few miners to keep it going. When the miners stop, coin gets stuck, then the wallets start failing. This leads to where we are now, forked. Coins are almost all mined anyway, less than a billion left.

My wallet is up and running on the same chain as Cryptopia. several resyncs all eventually connected to that chain. Multifaucet appears to be resyncing now.

In the appdata dir delete all files except for wallet.dat then put the bootstrap.dat into that dir and run the wallet. after resync the bootstrap.dat should change to bootstrap.dat.old. This is if the bunnycoin wallet works the same as others. I didn't think bootstraps would work with BUN because of the charity stuff.

Pool back online,  I will pay the pools miners for the orphan blocks mined during the fork.

Happy hashing ...

OK, still trying to get the wallet on the new computer. First installed the wallet and replaced the wallet key before syncing, that didn't work. Then tried the bootstrap with that one and wouldn't sync.  Deleted all the old files from the failed install, tried to do a clean install without changing the key til after sync this time, but got stuck on block 550019.
SO....... now I'm trying the bootstrap file ONE MORE time on this installation.
Keeping my fingers crossed LOL......

I haven't had any problems with my Bunnycoins that I swapped for BARR.

No problems syncing, no forks, and I've been able to trade and send without interruption.

The swap for BARR is over, but maybe we could do one more round of swap for Bunnycoin if anyone is interested.

The exchange rate would probably be different this time since the price of BUN is half as much, and the price of BARR has doubled.

But it would only be possible if the blockchain is working and not forked.

Yes, we burned 11 Billion BUN and redeemed them with BARR.

can you show us proof of burn and what a waste of such good bunny coin

What's good about it?

It doesn't work, nobody uses it, nobody mines it, it's worth almost nothing, and it has $4.00 volume in the past 24 hours.

None of the BUN charity addresses have ever given anything to charity, and they won't be getting any more BUN because mining rewards are over.  So the entire concept of the coin has been a failure and never accomplished a single thing from the first day it started.

Our burn wasn't a waste of good coins - the waste is the bunnycoins people are stuck with because they didn't burn them for BARR.

Nobody even cares enough to post on this ANN.  You're the only poster in the past 2 weeks, and you don't even care enough to read the topic.  Since you don't know about BARR, you haven't even read the last 2 pages.  You haven't read this topic at all for the past 5 months, or you would know about BARR.

If you really wanted proof of what we burned, you would have already seen that our provable burn address is #1 on the Bunnycoin richlist.

So why are you here?  You promised "more info will come" and then you didn't post again for 9 months:

Here comes the calvary  Grin

Coming in to assist the wonderful dev with bunnycoin PR

Scavenger hunt  is still scheduled soon !!!! and more info will come

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Go Grab some bunny

If anyone took your advice and bought Bunnycoin at that time, they paid too much and probably lost money.  But go ahead and keep telling them how good it is, maybe they have some more money to lose.

I still mine BUN, and run just enough hashrate to keep the blockchain moving. As long as Bunnycoin is still listed on an exchange, I will keep mining.

BUN was a lot of fun and I see no reason to let it die just yet.
