Hello,

short question, how long is there this red notice in an account, stating that the password for an account was recently changed?

And if an account was banned previously at one point in time, can this be seen somewhere?

Greetings!
Sebastian

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hello,

It will show up in a user's trust profile for 3 days if the password was simply changed and will show up for 30 days if it was reset via email. It will remain in the security log for 30 days regardless.
And if an account was banned previously at one point in time, can this be seen somewhere?
No.

Thank you Quickseller. Then if someone claims an account was not banned before, you cant proof otherwise, except you find posts stating that or a staff members is answering, right?

The notice only there 2 days is interesting. But staying there 30 days in the log is somewhat long. Can you tell how many different accounts are mentioned in this security log?

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

If the account was banned recently, you can always check the modlog https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php

There is no verifiable way to prove that an account was not banned in the past short of having BadBear confirm, although BadBear has said in the past that he does not like disclosing this type of information, so IDK if he would tell you or not. You could do a search in meta for threads complaining that the account was unjustly banned, although not everyone will make these threads, you could also check an account's posting history to see if it has any long gaps, although there are legitimate reasons why an account would have gaps in it's posting history.

I do not know of an automated way to count how many accounts are mentioned in the security log, although if you are looking for a particular one you can go to bitcointalk.org/seclog.php then search for the username in question, although it should be noted that there are several legitimate reasons to both change and reset your password.

If the account was banned recently, you can always check the modlog https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php

In that log appear only the permanent bans and not the temporary bans.
