^  For Man United to get out of the rut their in, then it's time for them to accept that they're not and will not ever be back in the level of dominance under the SAF era without giving the club some time to rebuild.  So they tried taking a short cut by spending big on the past couple of transfer windows...  It didn't work, it's now time to get down to business, get a manager who's willing to go thru the rebuilding process and actually rebuild.
Ferguson had indeed had a very strong magic power and he gave a result of the initial coaching. Ferguson raised a lot of Manchester United academy stars and he and the class of Manchester players have presented many titles. While at present the management of Manchester United always thinks that with money they can get satisfactory results, even though it cannot be done by Manchester United. Maybe for other clubs that will be different results. Manchester United needs coaching from the start and it must be done to make the Reds devil remain a team that counts every season !!!

I don't think it would be that easy for other managers to match the achievement of Alex Ferguson during his days coaching Manchester United, Alex Ferguson always seems to be able to unleash the potential of every players he brought to Manchester United, and under his guidance, Manchester United have always been able to perform very well constantly as a team. Jose Mourinho does have good players in Manchester United now, but he needs to find a good solution to make those players perform well constantly as a team.

It's prolly cos of the 'hair dryer treatment'.  Lol.  Look it up, Alex Ferguson hair dryer treatment.  Grin

Anyway, it looks like United wants to hire Andrea Berta as sporting director to help Mou in acquiring the players the club needs.  Good!  That was the original plan anyway, but Berta decided to go to Atletico instead.  They prolly didn't offer him enough money.  Lol.

Woodward prolly doesn't know what he's doing half of the time.  Berta help built the Sevilla squad that won three straight Europa League trophies.

Edit:  I got confused.  Monchi was the sporting director at Sevilla (who transferred to Roma around the same time Mou was appointed United manager) who won three EL trophies straight, not Berta.

I don't know who Berta is.  Lmao.  Wtf am I talking about?  Anyway it would be sweet if they get Monchi.

Glad the Premier League is back this week. Two games I'm really looking forward to are Tottenham vs Liverpool and Watford vs Manchester United. The Spurs game could be the battle to take or keep the number one spot but games like this could even be vital for the title shot as I don't expect either team to lose many games this year. If Watford manage to get three points they could even take the top spot themselves (especially if the Spurs/Liverpool game is a draw). Watford are on a roll at the moment and have the home advantage but they won't have an easy ride against United who are looking to turn their form around after their last win. A loss to Watford really would be another kick to the nuts for Jose and he needs to get some wins to keep his position.

I believe Chelsea should be able to beat Cardiff City easily this week at the stadium of Stamford bridge, after checking the English Premier League table, Cardiff City have only managed to obtain two points out of four matches played, and this is often an indication that the team will be battling hard in the relegation zone for the rest of the season, I guess it is almost impossible for Cardiff City to get any points from this match playing against Chelsea.

Yes! Super excited! Watford has a chance for 3 points against United? I don't think so..

Watford are 4-0 including a win against Spurs, while United are 2-2 including a loss to Brighton. Could easily go either way.

Another win for Watford will put them on almost 40% of their total points last year (41) after only 13% of the games.

This is going to be very interesting match as Watford is doing very good in last four matches and United is unpredictable but now they are gaining confidence and have good away win but I am going with Watford as they was super against Tottenham and this win can give them more confidence and they can go dark horse like Leciester other interested match is Tottenham vs Liverpool for me visitors are in pole position as they are doing very good in this season.

Watford's winning streak will almost certainly come to an end very soon and this is the game that will likely break that. I think there's too much at stake for United but maybe the pressure will get to them and Mourinho. If United lose then this would be very bad news for him as he's already on shaky ground. He can't keep losing especially to teams like Watford even despite their recent performances.

I think the Tottenham game will be a draw and Chelsea will win putting them to 1st place. I think a lot of people have overlooked Chelsea focusing on the Liverpool/Man City and Tottenham teams but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they win the league this year (though I agree they've got some very tough competition and my money would be on one of the other three).

Hugo Lloris & Dele Alli out of the Liverpool game Saturday, should give my Red Men a slight advantage.

I'll wait for the full line-ups to be announced before I put any money on this (or make my predictions on the predictor). I would have probably gone for a draw but if Spurs are down players and Liverpool put out a full strength team I'll be likely to back them, especially as I think Liverpool are the slightly stronger team anyway.

I wonder how many people will have the balls to back Watford against United? That game could go anyway I reckon. Could be zero goals, only one in it or an absolute slugfest.

Watford is the surprise of the season after the bookkeepers have been favoring Javi Garcia to be the first manager to be sacked now after 4rounds they collected 12 points I don't believe that they could keep up with the other elite teams but they have a chance to finish inside the European spots if they continue this performance obviously they are much better then Arsenal or United but when those find their best squad they can be unstoppable.

By week 4 in 2015/16, Leicester only had 8 points with 2 wins and 2 draws, including a draw against Spurs who Watford have beaten. There's no denying they've had a great start, but they are still to be tested against the likes of City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

What do you guys think about Everton v West Ham? Apparently Everton are going to be missing a load of first team players

With their terrible start there's some decent odds on West ham, like 3.6-3.7 atm. Wondering if it's worth a little bet?

I've just checked in with our sportsbook team (definitely not asking them for tips for myself Roll Eyes) and apparently we are seeing some action on the Tottenham v Liverpool game at the moment, specifically the anytime scorer markets for Harry Kane (2.19) and Mohamed Salah (2.20).

It's a shame the BTTS odds are a little low at the moment (1.60) as most articles I've read seem to be pushing goals over 2.5.

Will Watford be the new Leicester?

Too early to tell, but I doubt it. Let's see what happens on the weekend. Could be a good time to put some money on them now though as if they beat Manchester the odds will surely drop drastically. They're at 200 to 1 right now so could be worth $5 or $10 on them. Leicester had a very strong squad when they won the league with a lot of players who were honestly too good for them and Watford don't really have any superstars in my opinion. Mahrez has gone on to better things but I'm surprised more players haven't left as well. I thought Schmeichel would be the next to go but he signed a new contract recently. Who have Watford got? Troy Deeny? lol.

What do you guys think about Everton v West Ham? Apparently Everton are going to be missing a load of first team players

With their terrible start there's some decent odds on West ham, like 3.6-3.7 atm. Wondering if it's worth a little bet?

I'd stay well away from that game. West Ham are terrible and are probably going down this season. I would back Everton for sure but maybe not if they've got players out.

No idea.  But that was a fluke.  You planning on betting the 'Watford to win EPL' prop?  Grin

I actually made the bet on Everton -0.5 at 2.09.  West Ham is away and they've had a bad start on their campaign.  Still could see this go 2 - 1, 1 - 0 for the the home side despite injuries.

Will Watford be the new Leicester?
I still don't believe Watford will be able to match the achievement of Leicester City winning the English Premier League trophy yet, but Watford are definitely doing pretty well at the moment after they managed to beat Tottenham 2-1 in their last match, I guess Watford fans could at least rest assure that they will not be seeing Watford struggling in the relegation zone this season if the players of Watford are able to keep up with this performance.
