Another win for Man City to return to the 1st position after another impressive win against Cardiff City to keep their quadruple title hopes alive. Both goals were scored in the 1st half by De Bruyne and Sane, That'd brings City to 13 consecutive wins in all competitions.

Manchester City to be on fire.
They are on great form and if this keeps happening they will put Liverpool in a very bad position. There are still some games that could determine the winner of the Premier League title but I think that if Man City will keep this performance they will not have any problem.

It doesn't look that difficult for them , I think Manchester City has already won against all of these teams and I see not a lot of difficulty ahead for them, maybe they will not get the full 12 points but I think they will easily get 9-10 points without problems in these games.

I think that was LFC Bitcoin’s point. 9-10 points would mean LFC would lead again if they win their games. It’s at the stage where if one of LFC or City draw or lose 1 game it could be terminal for their respective title challenge.

Spurs and Utd are not going to seat down and eating pop corn. They will bite hard to take points from City. OTOH Liverpool has Chelsea to face and in any other match if they lose any point then I will blame them for their mistake.

Plus Man City have to play three games against Tottenham in a short time. There will not be much room for tactics, however, a small advantage has M. City because have more top players in the roster.
I think to draw on MUTD vs. MCity of course, except if Smalling scores own goal.
Liverpool has a hard game against Chelsea, and everything really looks like that famous Gerrard year.

Yes, right. ManC should win the rest of the season to guarantee this season's as EPL champion. Liverpool benefited more because they only met Chelsea who could be said a big team. and liverpool have 3 home matches while ManC has only 2 home matches. one point difference I think will be very easy to take over by Liverpool if ManC made a mistake. however Liverpool also had to play well to continue sticking ManC to have take over chance.

Same goes for Liverpool... Liverpool has to win all the games till the end of the season if they want to keep the Distance at the close level.
Both teams need to perform their max and more of the two, Liverpool because they are behind and they also need losses of points from Manchester City if they want to win the title.

Huge game for Liverpool. The pressure could get to them but I can see Mane and Van Dijk turning up the heat at their old stomping ground. Will be interesting to see the reception from the fans at St Mary's.

I am on the same page. Liverpool is much more confident after this win. In this level of game if you notice then the physical and technical strength is not much difference from each other but the phycological stand which creates the difference.

Liverpool needs to believe that they can turn any match in their favour and can win the trophy. If they can continue this CAN DO attitude then we will see them to lift the trophy.

Everyone says that Liverpool has the easier selection but if you look at it, Liverpool seem to do very well agains the big teams, see how they even get lucky against my Hotspurs;)

yes southampton is good team and they are almost draw against Manchester United. but liverpool is very confident to play in this match with the last five winning streak in EPL , they are very close with EPL winner if they can beat southampton.

I think the common feeling is that Manchester city may lose a point or two somewhere until the end of the season but we should not forget that both teams need to win all of their games regardless of what happens to the other team. Say Manchester city lost a game and lost 3 points which would be horrible for city but at the same time Liverpool still has to win all their games and would be losing the cup even if city loses in case they lose too.

So, this is going to be one of the most exciting season endings since Leicester city won and I think both teams could lose which would be horrible for Liverpool but would create amazing drama, think about it, City loses a game and Liverpool seems like leading and just as they are going to win they lose a game too and City scoops it back up, that would be insanely exciting to watch.

S’ton have lost 14, yes 14 PL games so far this season. It really should be a comfortable victory for Liverpool who have lost only 1 themselves.
