Chelsea vs Leicester City. To restore their confidence after losing with a huge score from Manchester United last week, Chelsea must win today's match against Leicester. If they are fail to get points, of course this will have a bad impact for the upcoming matches. Hopefully Lampard will be able to implement the best strategy this time.
Though they lost the UEFA Super Cup, i think that Chelsea played very well and they should be proud of their performance going on to the game today. Which i am sure they are going to win. Leicester City really aint what they used to be. |

Chelsea did not play optimally in the match. They are not able to get 3 points, Chelsea should be able to do this. But unfortunately this does not come true, just a draw is not enough to bring Chelsea to compete at the top of the EPL standings.
At this rate, I don't even think Lampard might finish a full season at Chelsea unless the trend is reversed. Yes he maybe new in the game but Abramovich doesn't usually like getting embarrassed for longer periods of time. The game wasn't good at all for them. You could say they even showed a better performance in the period game than this despite losing it. |

Yes he maybe new in the game but Abramovich doesn't usually like getting embarrassed for longer periods of time. The game wasn't good at all for them. You could say they even showed a better performance in the period game than this despite losing it.
Chelsea in the future must display its best performance. As you said Abramovich, the owner will usually fire anyone who coaches if he brings Chelsea into poor form. Surely lampard already knew about it, we will see Chelsea 1-2 matches again. |

Leicester were almost a different side in the second half after a calamitous first period. I do not think Chelsea needs to change much, lampard just needs to get them doing what they are doing better, much better. Goals win matches, and you need to score to win, sometimes more than one. Attention mow shifts to Manchester United, they could go top with a convincing victory today, but Wolverhampton are not underdogs in the very least, another top test for them. |

The lost against Liverpool didn't affect us badly instead it motivated us as you can see the way the boys played in the first half. We're lacking continuity as our second half performance hasn't been impressive that's why we're losing this games. Liverpool were the side that got affected from the Istanbul game as they didn't play like a team wanting to challenge for the trophy although they were lucky to take all 3 points home. Lucky for them too City drew with Tottenham. If Lampard is observant the best strategy he should apply, will be to get as much goals in the first as possible then play through the second half. From my observation Chelsea aren't scoring much goals this season. We have to work on our second half performance. Hope someone can pass that on to him. |

I believe that Lampard is going to be an exception for Abromovich axe for this season alone, especially when they have lost their best player and they were not able to make any transfers due to their ban. Lampard had no opportunity to build his preferred team so i think that he might be given the benefit of the doubt for at least this season as long as he doesn't put the club in the relegation zone. |

Chelsea is doing normally I think as in the last games of Premier League they did not show any good game apart from the ones against really weak teams.
I think Lampard needs a bit of time just to find the perfect balance between the players and show some good football.
For that we have to wait though.

We're lacking continuity as our second half performance hasn't been impressive that's why we're losing this games.
Sort of reminds me of my Real Madrid last season. Our 2nd half were always shit, we were either 2-0 or 0-0 in the 1st half, and suddenly, we're 2-3 or 0-2 in the 90min. United are the favourites in this tie, but they were also the favourites last season, but odds are no longer 4/1 to Wolves now so it's a great indication of OSG's rebuilding success. The more you devise the rule and the more is stoppage time, the more annoying it's to watch. |
