Why does people act like Liverpool wasn't the champions league winner of last year and Chelsea was literally third place by luck by just 1 point ahead of forth and 2 points ahead of fifth position (one more loss and they would have been fifth)? Is Chelsea really THAT better than they were last year? Looking at their recent game I doubt that is true, is people hoping that Liverpool would have a bad game because its the start of the season?

Guys this is Liverpool, they will win against Chelsea for sure, this is not a nice candy world where we praise everyone for trying, this is gambling, I would not bet a single satoshi on Chelsea to win this game, maybe I am wrong, maybe Chelsea will win, maybe there will be draw but if I am going to risk my money then it will surely be Liverpool for me.

This will be liverpool's first big test of the season.

Do you think so, Liverpool have played Arsenal and they hit them with three goals, I think this is actually their second real/big test of the season, though this one promises to be tougher than that of Arsenal.

Chelsea would prove a harder nut to crack than Arsenal for Liverpool, and as a Manchester City fan I do hope Chelsea pull up something and win that game, as it stands Liverpool are running away with the title, though it's still early days.

This is going to be a tough one, probably game of the weekend and I think both teams have good offensive lineups with the likes of the Abraham's , the manes and Salahs all look fired up but that UEFA performance gave me a different insight of the game and I see a boredraw at the least...

And Liverpool running away with the title Mate don't tell me you have already forgotten that the reds have this habit of throwing away a huge advantage...let me not go far just last season they threw away a 10point lead only to be caught by city who had lost several matches unlike their 1 loss from 38 matches.

I am thinking to bet on more goals or both to score in this encounter. Both teams are scoring lots of goals and don't look too good on defensive. This is especially true for Chelsea but Liverpool is also looking a bit more shaky defending than last season. Of course Liverpool is a clear favorite but I think Chelsea has good chance of scoring at least one goal. But I expected lots of goals during the week in Champions League and both Chelsea and LFC let me down so don't listen to me.

That's just what i did, my bet is on Liverpool winning as every indication points toward them walking away with the 3points although the fan spirit in me is praying for Chelsea to put in an awesome display to aleast draw the game or probable win it. Liverpool recently are far better than Chelsea that's no argument and the chances of us winning them is almost impossible but it's football and anything is possible.

It'll take a poor performance from Liverpool for us to profit although even in poor performance this season, Liverpool has always found a way to win games. Our defense hasn't proven themselves to be capably of securing a lead, even against wolves we gave them hope by allowing them to score twice when we should have used that opportunity to claim our first clean sheet.

I am also very confident right now that Liverpool will take the victory. And I've also bet for online and offline, I hold LIverpool to win. I don't care about their previous matches, Liverpool are on fire at EPL. It is very possible the LFC can take 3 points at Chelsea home.

Chelsea vs Liverpool should be a great match. Both teams lost midweek although you could say both possibly didn’t deserve to lose. Chelsea missed a penalty which would have made it 1-1 & Liverpool conceded a penalty which shouldn’t have been given. I really don’t understand what is the point of VAR if it doesn’t change wrong decisions.

Any way, I think Chelsea vs Liverpool will be a close one, maybe a draw.

I think both teams were very unlucky with the lack of VAR, I agree. I did not see the exact videos but if you read all the reports, you can safely say both teams at least should have had VAR reviews.
Especially for me in the case of DIVING. If you get a penalty and there is possibility of cheating, you better use VAR. Hope EPL respects their commitment to kick out diving.

@DeathAngel why do you believe that Chelsea vs Liverpool will end up in a draw?, as I’m expecting Liverpool to score at least 3 - 4 goals, and Chelsea may just score one goal. As a Manchester United fan I would wish both the clubs drop points, but as a football fan I know that Liverpool is the far superior side and they’ll easily win this fixture. While Lampard and his team will try their best, it’s pointless to be honest because this Liverpool team will never settle for a draw.

No Arsenal was never in the picture, never did anyone think Arsenal could offset Liverpool but in this Chelsea case, they have proven they shouldn't be underestimate especial after their performance at the super cup against liverpool (forcing them to a draw) and current premier league form their youngsters are in.

Mo salah really disappointed us both on matchday 4 as I also did picked him over mane to score but he didn't. This week I did also pick him, just hoping he doesn't disappoint. Feels like, as it's an away match and against his former club, he might be the favorite over mane to score. Here was my matchday4 prediction, matchday5 was just 3 out of 7.

That's football for you and it's not about who plays best but who wins. most times, I'm actually watching this game and I'm wondering how Southampton are behind in this one, but Bournemouth have been the most clinical of the two teams and in their defense deserve to be in front.

Should have tried atleast one of Bournemouth's forwards like King or Callum Wilson who's been on form thou. I have enjoyed his presence in my Premier League fantasy team so far.
There's away Southampton forward line looks so blunt to my liking... but anyway you never know what may come in second half

Btw, did you guys see Bournemouth's 3rd goal? Embarrassing, and that's first division football. Anyways, looking forward to Leicester vs Spurs tomorrow.
