Honestly, it is just common sense , I am not the person who said Liverpool will focus on champions league but think about it, what would you do it if you were ahead of closest team with 13 points and one game less? You would totally focus on champions league that pays the most money out of all other European cups, right?

I mean sure if premier league required effort and time and hard work from them I would understand why Liverpool could focus on that but obviously it doesn't, assuming that 1 game is win, that is 16 points, basically 5 losses in a row to catch up. I am sorry but neither Liverpool losing that many games nor any team wins that many to catch up at the same time. So it only makes sense for Liverpool to give their all to champions league to get a back to back.

It makes sense that you are conveying. Now the opposing team is even more respectful before competing against Liverpool in the league. This is because the results they have gotten from 20 English league matches they only lost 2 points to get 60 maximum points. Doesn't this show how strong they are in the league this season. So maybe they will relax a little in the league and they just need to focus on their time against Manchester City so they don't lose. Because they've beaten Leicester twice this season in the league.

I'm watching the game, it's 0-3 in HT, but honestly, i've never felt so much secondhand embarrassment watching a football game, Man City are destroying Man Utd, it's a massacre, it's like watching a bunch of 10yo kids from your neighborhood playing against a professional football team. Apathetic, no spirit, players laying on the ground eating grass, own goals, Man City made Man Utd look like a bunch of amateurs from the non-professionals leagues.

I don't know if i'm gonna make it through the 2nd half. It's so sad really...

Also, fucking Jones man, this guy, I feel so bad for the Man Utd fans who have to watch their team play with that guy on the squad

Manchester City won in the Carabao Cup semi-final against Man United, its great in the first round was able to score 3 goals and I think this is a good victory.
I'm happy to see bets winning because there will be a lot of bets here, but I think many also bet because there are a lot of Man United fans.

I didn't bother wasting my time to watch the match, irrespective of whether both teams used their main starting 11 or not, this isn't a premier league game so obviously the atmosphere can never be the same. Saw from the stats, City outplayed United but I guess the one positive result they can take home form the match is that, Rashford scored again (against a top team).

The CAFAward (Africa football award) ceremony held last night and Sadio Mane was crowd the Africa player of the year. This is the first time he's winning the prestigious award. He won the award ahead of his teammate and two time winner, Mo Salah and previous winner, Riyad Mahrez.

Did not watch the game as I am not a fan of either but at the food stalls we were at, you can hear only silence and some curses,,, most people are still Manchester United in my place from the success of Ferguson era.

In the next three weeks Liverpool will face Tottenham, Man United and Wolves. This was an interesting match at EPL in the new year. I immediately watched it and couldn't wait to see Liverpool playing with new player Minamino.
Positive in the next 3 weeks Liverpool will win perfectly.

Against the Tottenham: I think Son will be back but Tottenham will miss Kane of course. That injury against Southampton did not look good to me. So without Kane, the Tottenham team will not be much sharp and I am expecting a 1 - 3 win for us.

Against Utd: It's easy to say that we will win but my fear is the counter attacks from Utd. Against big teams Utd seems more committed in this season however I will go with another win for us in this match. I am always optimistic when it comes to bitcoin and Liverpool of course.

Against Wolves: yeah away match but I would not hesitate to have a straight win for us.

Good luck Liverpool. I do not see anyone else is going to threat the title of this season from us.

Mane really deserves it. His performance last season was really fantastic. Mane should have had the opportunity to win the ballon d'or last season. Now Liverpool squad (especially Mane and Salah) just have to appear consistent this season. I'm sure one of them will win the Ballon D'or this season if at least Liverpool can enter the final champion league

As soon as I saw the likes of Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard on the pitch I knew that the game was effectively over. Which goes to show how clueless and incompetent Solksjaer is. Stalling was by far the best of the two defenders when it comes to him and Jones but Stalling was made to go out on loan whiles Jones stayed at Manchester United. We are yet to win a single game this year and we have played three games already.

I have the same thought, Utd is the team who can upset us (Liverpool). Who would have thought they will win against City¹ but their counter arrack strategy worked and got a sweet win, 1 - 2. Tottenham is not a big team anymore. They are the same as Utd, struggling in every other EPL match. Chelsea, yes in their day of course.

But let's be positive considering the performance from Liverpool unit. I am hoping another win for us.

Even tho Mane was arguably best player from Africa all year, he was also a superbly nice human being as well which I am sure contributed a lot for him to win. That is what you see in the African community and African sports players. Not just soccer but all over the world, like look at NBA for example and how much African players in NBA bring back to their nations with buildings, charities, sports schools for kids to get better and get noticed, hospitals and many more stuff.

Sane lives a very calm and decent life and he constantly talks about how is life is basically similar to a regular human, if you worked in a white collar semi-average job you probably live around or better than Mane. There was a picture of him holding his phone which was broken and there was one after a while and it was still broken, dude can afford to buy new iphone 11 every single day with the amount of money he makes but he prefers to spend it on giving it away to people who are more in need.

Maybe we should put one more Allison Becker in the nomination. Did you see Liverpool's big difference before Allison's arrival? They are a team that is terrible in terms of scoring goals, but the goalkeeper becomes their weakness. This also made them fail in the Champions League when the Final Against Madrid.
Besides with the appearance and achievements, I think Allison can be nominated. Although it is very difficult to see a goalkeeper win the ballon d'or
