i don't think we are going to see any major change in the bitcoin market until the end of this year unless some huge news comes out of nowhere to change everything.
so i guess the price would be around the same level ($300-350) by the end of 2015

Unless some huge news comes out of nowhere?
How about a hard fork that will ravage the entire bitcoin economy and community?
My bet that we will drop below $100 within 2015 is still open, no takers yet. I wonder why...

Aren't you that guy who sold all of his bitcoins for 10 USD?

Cheesy

i am still waiting for the end of the week for the price to crash under $200.

oh wait, over a month has past from that weekend Wink

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

This is just a estimate, but I think it`ll take more then a month to really settle in the low $200ish and high 100ish.

Most you can see the price recovery goes back and forth within 2-3 days frame time.

It appears that more and more of the community are agreeing with the hard fork, not the other way around. Atleast the market is not responding in total choas, it looks favorable to me..

I think the true price to take away from the 300 mark, is the high 200ish then then 300.

I feel most the price movement seems to stay or hover around high 200ish rather then actually going over 300.

The posibilities of breaking this years ATH are high, the price is holding steady at a 250+ territory, right now we are on a pump again and we'll be 280 when we wake up. In fact coinjar already reached 280 and surpassed it. It's obvious 300+ territory awaits us rather sooner than later and probably before summer ends.

it's not that easy as it looks. i think we must be very happy to reach and stay above $300 this year. at this point every attempt to do so has failed.

Just keep in mind that at a price of $275 / coin, there needs to be ~$1 million / day coming into the Bitcoin ecosystem to hold the price.  That is a huge amount of money.  If you are waiting for a huge price jump, wait until the next halving in a year and then we will see. Possibly.

The only things I could see that would cause a serious upswing are if there's a stock market crash, if the FED raises interest rates, or if something goes crazy with either Greece or Puerto Rico.  Besides that I think the price at the end of the year will be slightly below $300.

this assuming that all miners are dumping, which i don't find exactly true, i suspect 50% or around there is the dumping from miners, so it should be far less than that

i believe that it isn't the supply the problem but the demand, practically speaking we decrease and increase especially because of it, because demand is lower or higher, supply has a very low impact

My supposition is about 375-385. During next days price will go down another 4-10%, then in September start to increase.

This sounds reasonable, and I feel this would hit the point.

I`m not sure as the other people mentioning about $500. That increase would have to come up drastically for a reason something valid, not some whale just purchasing bitcoin.

FOMO is a perfectly valid reason for a drastic increase.  We've seen it plenty of times before.
Sorry man, what's the meaning for the acronym FOMO?

np - FOMO is Fear Of Missing Out.  It's a term for part of the psychological effect that kicks in during a fast run-up in price.  It's the natural fear that "oh shit this is going to the moon I don't want it to get there without a piece of it"

It's especially powerful with an asset class like Bitcoin where there is an eventual finite amount.

really thought $415 seems a bit too optimisic..

The rates are at mid $200ish, but the thing is how would $200 jump happen. Unless theres some serious positive news that can swing that direction.
