I have no design inputs except maybe: Black and Orange.

I had this issue last time.

People seem to be unable to understand very explicit wording.

Maybe its a pre-conceived culture of the services section here.

Technically it is a 'competition' by definition but users here seem to think a competition means someone being guaranteed payment.
