With all due respect to the previous posters (some good suggestions imo), nobody really knows what they actually want.

Reminds me of one of my favorite pseudo-quotes: “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” - Henry Ford

As much as I share both your sentiments from a technological standpoint, we're talking about a piece of metal with a sticker on it.   Wink

Simply put, I do know what I want (regardless of artistic design/shape - I trust wheelz would come up with something satisfactory) and maybe I didn't phrase it correctly above.  I would prefer my collectible coin/piece of metal to be made of a precious metal rather than a base metal.

I didn't dislike the distribution model but was off-put at the amount of alts that were not favorable.  I thought it was a really successful run for wheelz and I wanted to give my input that I would like Bitcoin and Silver.

oh, I agree. I'd love some .999 fine silver Genesis Coins too. I'm not saying that I (and most people) don't want them; I'm simply saying that I'm satisfied with the current non-silver Genesis Coins too.

On a similar note, .999 fine silver coins are nice (and expensive), but look at how many .999 fine silver coins are still being sold which were minted two+ years ago. It's hard to sell all the stock. Sure, some of us are willing to pay $50-100 for a single collectible coin, but most people can't swing that much cash on a whim. Personally, I believe the current $15, non-silver Genesis Coins fit a niche and are (forgive the bad pun) right on the money. Grin

Have you thought about a Bitcoin Penny Limited Ed. Silver version?   Cool

To go off topic bit... Absolutely! But the price would be sky high. My coins are specialty size, not the cookie-cutter 39mm. Pure silver in my size would cost a fortune.  However, I've toyed with the idea of minting a very few extra large, 39mm Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coins. Who knows what my future holds... Wink

Regards,
Christopher

And a painting is just a piece of canvas with different pigments slapped on it. What of it?

My point wasn't there are physical bitcoin "innovations" yet to be made, but that I could create a design or add some collectible feature that you would never have thought you wanted until I sat it down in front of you. Did you think you'd like a raven themed hologram so much that you'd make it your avatar on a message board?  Cheesy

Unless you make a run of 1,000 silver coins, this isn't really true. I sold out of my only silver coin in a couple of weeks and my next design will be minted in silver first.

Most mints offer a 27mm 0.25oz .999 silver round, which would be slightly larger than your penny (~23mm?) and the prices are not astronomical. You also don't have to incur all of the other costs (e.g. a custom sized hologram).

I agree with both of your statements. Smiley

Very cool, that sounds pretty neat.   Smiley

It's quite obvious I have a vested interest in selling my surplus Ravenbit coins such as you do for promoting your own brand.  This is besides the point of the Node Bronze hologram being nice which I've stated before.

I'm more after precious metals than I am artwork which is subjective in value.
