Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

No, that is where we need to go, but the market is still too premature.

@Kees,

The diff needs to be lower if your going to  use the multiplier setting in cpuminer, I just rejected share above target.  try either a separate port like on BrutumPool or have stratum adjust down faster.
I say this because my diff is 1, with the multiplier setting it makes it 256, on bantumpool mine was  0.0001 after multiplier it was 0.0256

Well, I did that on purpose actually. I do not want to compete with other pools. This pool is really meant as backup when other pools are offline. PoW is important for our blockchain at the moment, so see it as a security.

Oh my god ! This coin looks very promising and cheap. I am going to invest as soon as i am finished with this writing.
It reminds me of PIVX last year when PIVX was cheap and I predicted 3 usd in one year. Some people believed my prediction and got rich. I predict at least 1.75 usd for AMS by February next year and 3 usd in the end of next year, and here are my reasons and it is calculated by mathematical analysis.

if my predictions are right and you got rich, buy me a beer in Amsterdam R. L. District Smiley

1. Masternode with 100,000 coins is very smart to lock away coins faster. With 500 masternodes, 50 mln coins will be withdrawn from the market. Only 30 to 35 mln coins left for staking and on the market. this scarcity will push the price up. AMS masternode owners will be richer than PIVX owners cause PIVX has only 10,000 coins a masternode.

2. Mining will end in a few months and system will go on POS. It means miners have to save ams and not to sell in order to have masternodes. Less coins in the market and this will push price up.

3.  this coin has a smart hardworking DEV ( keesdewit ) who did too much job in a few days and changed a forgotten coin to a state of the art coin in the level of top coins on the market. welldone. Keesdewit you have done a fantastic job and you will make many investors rich. Thank you.

4. BTC will rise in price and it will effect AMS as well.

5. masternode coins are the future and many people realize its value and treasure the passive income. All masternode coins will be popular in the future.
investing in AMS right now is investing in DASH 2 years ago and PIVX a year ago. I am going to own 2 masternodes ...

Good luck guys...

Hi Kees,

Can you help me, i'm trying to test your pool, using 3 rx580, found some blocks but no round information and the speed shows wrong and no shares. Maybe a problem with the diff ?

Brutum pool works fine speed correct and i found much more blocks even with only me at the pool.

And some errors like this :
[19:07:57] Rejected 02978a6b Diff 0.386/0.373 BLOCK! GPU 1  (Diff is 0.37340178 Share Rej

Thanks

Hi guys,

As you may know masternodes.pro will add AMS stats to their website if they receive 400 usd for that.
And thats a huge publicity for AMS. We, investers, miners and as AMS community need to donate 400 usd for that.
I just donated 1 mln satoshi for this witch is about 43 USD. So 357 USD remaining.
Please donate as much as you can, even some satoshti also will help.
This is the BTC address to donate for AMS stats:  1NehzUSWN4PXsgacywY77LDujQCswAy8iH
check their website to see how much is donated before sending any satoshi.
This is is the website:  masternodes.pro

When the coin is ready and swap is done, we need to collect money to ad this beauty to Cryptopia and finally to Bittrex.
AMS is undervalued and it goes to moon with proper support, believe me.

shoot for the Moon, even if you miss, you will land among the stars ...

Those who can donate please mention your name or nikname, and tell the community how much you can donate...

good luck guys

Hi dev help please,

I have my coins on yobit and nova. Also I  have the latest wallet v4 and now I want to send all my coins on exchanges to my new wallet for masternode so my question is:

Do I have to do the first coin swap and then send it to my v4 wallet? Or swap has already been done on nova and yobit?

You can use the AMD driver if  you get Nvidia driver with Opencl support.  They tend to be the firt drives released for the card that you have.
