I FULLY support AMS and encourage everyone to invest. Best investment out there right now, and I hardly ever say this, but buy it now while its still low.

Vegas

Best investment if you were mining on the old blockchain and blocks were coming in super fast. Close to 100k blocks a month at the rate blocks were being found. Not sure if it was bad development or purposely done to get a large amount of coins to swap. Either way it was a bad start.

http://www.amsterdamblockchain.info/address/ahp3a5Gzdo8z8tcEV7YFTudT52rmE9o75T

6.6 million coins in one address of a supply total supply that will be just over 80 million.

You obviously do not know what you are talking about. The old chain could be mined by everyone during the one week swap. The address you mention is the Yobit exchange address. I think you talk like this because you just missed the boat.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I loved the fast mining! Me and a buddy got 60% of all blocks at one point of time. And whit older scrypt miners. Great start

This was at the very beginning of AMS, right? So it is something different than what Tommyticker says.

Of course, either way you will have a distribution problem where usage will be non existent as a few people hold coins waiting for a pump to offload.

But that is normal for new coins. The difficulty is low when the coin is relatively unknown. It has nothing to do with poor development or bad intentions like Tommyticker suggests. I like to hear that you had a good time with the coin and mining. That is how it supposed to be.

The coin is very young, and I can so many usages for "Amsterdam coin". The possibilities are ENDLESS!!! But everything takes time. I can assure you Amsterdam coin will go big, and crush its competitors.

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Not looking to get reimbursed or anything, but i've been looking and cannot find which coin was involved in the "swap".  Was it just an earlier version, or was some other coin 'merged' into AMS?  (I'm cleaning out my OLD OLD junk files of worthless coins, and this is why i'm asking... as long as i didn't have a million coins there, i'm ok, lmao!)

Smiley

Thanks!

Hey Kees de Wit,

I am looking with great interest to the Amsterdam Coin.
The markets appreciate your work and energy, and so do i.

I had a feeling that AMS would not be a new random coin made for pumps and dumps, and i was right.
Hopefully you and the AMS community can build the coin to an accepted payment system in Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands.

In my point of view Bittrex is an important stepping stone, can you tell me what they say about listing AMS to Bittrex?

Good luck..  Wink
