Well, i know for sure CCW will be back with a game after some time, who wouldn't?
And of course (EnlargeOK is different there) most ponzi's don't run for more than a few weeks. But in this case, especially with the exploit found by Clipman77 and Vasilich, he didn't earn enough for all the time and money the OP spent building site and scripts. All ponzi's will fold after a certain time, but if at least a few were paid out the 200 hours, more would (re)invest.
So, choosing to abandon the project might be the easiest way, but also the most stupid.
He would gain more refunding everyone what he agreed to and then reset. This would also get people to advertise, etc, as it seems CCW did not really promote it anywhere.
Then his biggest investors from team CryptoBanter would be back as well AND after the ponzi has run it's course, he could setup a new one.
Now, we'll do everything in our power to prevent that and try to warn everyone.

Ah, the scammer and exploiter has returned.. Well, we are as his biggest investors (Team CryptoBanter) actively monitoring sites. As soon as he pops up again we'll notify his host and warn people in the BCT threads and elsewhere. And as his first and biggest investors, it will mean a lot less deposits to start with. Now he got away with less than 3 BTC, so he'll be back for sure, as it didn't earn him much..

You going to report them to their host if they come with another name? But... how are you going to know if the new ponzi is them(CoinClockwork)? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

We have partial copies of the site saved, so comparing them is easy.

What you mean by "signs in his code"? Also, what if he came up with different design? I mean, there is no way you can trace him with by just comparing the design. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

But in this case none of the investors were paid over 100% of their deposit. I was at 78%. Which means he only got some dust out of it, as he failed before the site got successful and traction. Most investors were a day or so from ROI, so he ended up with maybe 3 BTC or less.. For a now unusable custom site, script, etc.. Hardly seems worth it.

At least you get back some of your coins. Don't expect more from a ponzi. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)
