I was all for Juve yesterday, I even think it was not a penalty

Me too, I placed a bet on Juve to win with odd more than 5 which is very nice profit. As a gambler I do really love to win this, but in case of soccer lover I do not really like to see the end of the match.

As per my opinion, Benatia did not kick the body. He did kick the ball, probably because of the referee was not on front of them.

I did not any efforts from Benatia to do so, For me it was a little trick from Vazquez. Smart move on the last minute by Vazquez IMO, although there was no big contact between him and Benatia. Even if he did not do it, I think it was still very great chance to make a goal but he did it smarter to make a 99% goal chance with a penalty.

however, Juventus crying over bad refereeing is a little bit prudish thing......

It is normal especially it was happened in the last minute and made the situation turn 180°. I'm sure Real Madrid or any other teams will do the same as what Juventus did.

Overall, my respect to Juventus on what they did last night.

Real Madrid didn’t impress me, lucky to get through. Anybody can win this out of the 4 remaining teams. There’s no clear favourite.

I mean, there's that club that has won 2 Champions League in a row (3 in the last for years), and they have the CL all-time top scorer in excellent form (first time a player has scored in 10 consecutive CL games), and there's also a german team that low-key has been solid throughout the CL. I think we have two big favorites.

Then again, the quarter finals were absolutely crazy, so we could see the same thing in the semis...and we might get the '84 European Cup final once again (Roma vs Liverpool)

Damn i can't believe this was going to happen again first roma shockingly making a comeback and today when.juventus almost had it but like every year madrid has sold out refs and ronaldo scoring the penalty and securing the win. Bayern match could also have been a blowout but a score of 0-0 wasn't settling at all but as long as they were able to qualify it didn't matter

This was one of the bizarre champions league matches I have ever seen, Liverpool qualifies despite being underdogs City who're unbeatable have sufffered loss after loss. Barcelona had a déjà vu of some kind and it's really strange and beyond reasonable explanation that they're out. Juventus scripts the best comeback and hey wait it's Madrid you can't beat them, they're infused with vitamin M lol. These matches need answers, i can't believe these results.

Real Madrid always seem to wait to make it a thriller killer match in the Uefa Championship semi-finals.

Yesterdays match could of went that way if Buffon didn't get thrown out of the game for barking at the referee and then putting his hands on him.
The way he was playing I wouldn't have doubted he could of saved that Ronaldo kick from going in at the end of it from adrenaline kicking in and being on a roll like that.
It has been a bizzare Championship from Roma kicking out Barcelona to Liverpool not kneeing to the soon to be crowned champions of the Premier league to this defeat of all defeats with just one goal to three. Also nobody talking about Bayern Munich yesterday because it was a snoozefest with them not scoring one goal.

Man, he went full rage mode against Michael Oliver in the post-match interview, I read today that even Del Piero was shocked to see Buffon talking and acting like that. But I think Gianluigi knew this was his last CL game so he didn't care about a possible punishment from the Uefa for his statements, unlike Chiellini who made a gesture towards the RM players that can be interpreted as "You paid the ref", so I think it's possible that he'll face some sort of sanction.

Blaming the referee will not be able to change the situation because Juventus nevertheless must accept the circumstances that happened that they did not make it to the semifinals. The issue of the referee's controversial decision we leave it to UEFA and wait for a decision on what happened in last night's UCL match between Real Madrid v Juventus. I was impressed when CR7 showed his respect for the outcome of the match by hugging Buffon as he walked down the aisle.

Today I was also going with three games open and just one Marseille vs Leipzig could be very tough but this was just one sided affair and Salzburg done great job to eliminate another Italian side out of UEFA now next round could be more interesting and I am watching Arsenal and Atletiico can go through to final if these both are not facing each other in semi final very good soccer is still coming as we are going to  end this season in next few weeks

After such amazing games in Champions league, I expected that Europa league matches will be boring. But no way, it was also exciting!
RB Leipzig scored early goal and were leading 2:0 on aggregate after that. But then Marseille scored 3 goals in a row. In 2nd half Marseille conceded another goal, but only after 5 minutes Payet scored 4th goal of Marseille. On additional time they finnished match by scoring empty net goal.
RB Salzburg made biggest sensation tonight by eliminating Lazio. 3 goals in 4 minutes is something phenomenal.
CSKA was also close to make sensation, they were leading against Arsenal 2:0 and needed to score one more goal, but on last minutes their players really goat tired and conceded 2 goals.
Champions and Europa league semifinal draw on this Friday.

yeah it was great comeback after Immobile goal in second half they managed to come back from 2-5 loss situation to 6-5 in less then 20 minutes. Now with the confirmed Teams to qualify to the next stage I would like that Atletico avoid Arsenal in the Semies because so the final can be more entertaining in My opinion The Spanish side is still the number one contender to lift the title while Arsenal are still in the game but I don't have enough confidence on them. For CL I see that Bayern is the most prominent candidate to win the Champions League this year because of the strength of all lines unlike the other teams that face several problems and the performance have seen ups and downs all alongside the season.

Wow. Made a mistake not to watch any of the games in Europa. Possibly a mistake not to back Marseille again (I bet on them on the first leg, the only losing match that failed my parlay). So Arsenal prevented a comeback, my favourite Athleti couldn't score but are through, would have made a lot of money betting on the underdogs this round.

juventus dismissed the issue that they would not be able to paralyze madrid in his cage. quick goals made in juventus in minute 2 able to grow the hope for juventus. but disastrous at the end of the match when madrid get a penalty. and I think it's a cheat from the referee. which I consider very unfair

Actually, it was 4 minutes, they scored 3 goals in 4 minutes, crazy stuff.

Honestly though, it seems like the second goal from Salzburg was a psychological hit for Lazio, they lost concentration and everything went downhill from that moment (kinda similar to what happened in the 2014 WC match between Brazil and Germany), either that or Salzburg drank a few red bulls before the 2nd half.

About the other games, Arsenal almost pulled an Arsenal but they managed to score a goal (a beautiful goal btw). Atletico lost (one more goal from Sporting and it was extra time) but they advanced to semis. Marseille was also on the brink of collapse but the goal at the last minute sealed the deal. Overall, an amazing week of football.

I still have not received the results of Real Madrid's victory with Juventus, I do not understand the referee's decision is not profeional .. if the Referee let the game end in pure and no need to give a penalty to Real Madrid I think Juventus is more deserved to win the game .. I hope at the end match or final Real Madrid meet with Liverpool and will be won by Liverpool

Yes, me too, I like when the match ends clean - however else it ends. I am even not very happy if my favorite team wins by the means of refereeing mistakes. That is why I cannot figure out how people cannot look at things more objectively. I understand the passion, the moment, but I cannot understand protecting the argument a long time after it was already established they were wrong.

Also - football needs more clear rules, and referees sticking to them at all costs, there are simply too many situations in which they can decide as they like and still be right.

By the way, a situation from this game was clear - Juve was a better side, Real needed some luck, or "luck" to win in the end. However, there are also many situations when one side would win even without the help coming from referees, and they still help them thus making them a complete disservice. A team winning like that gets accustomed to winning by chance hence becoming lazy, or if they deserve a victory, people still dispute it. That's how, for example, many people came to hate Barcelona from a few years ago).

I think there was a slight kick in the body, but that was a normal contact, he cleared the ball first and didn't hit him hard, hit his foot holding the center of his mass, or anything like that.

Not sure about this one, really not sure. When a guy runs fast like that, it is easy for him to throw the other guy out of balance, especially if he is heavy.

Since he went away from West Ham I didn't watch him very much and I didn't hear a lot about him as well. Hence, I thought that maybe he lost his touch.
But the ball controls he showed yesterday - amazing. End that goal, my reaction was - "Payet...goal....." before he scored. It was clear to me he would score as soon as I found out it was him entering the box. Amazing guy.

maybe if Liverpool vs madrid and Roma vs Bayern then in the final match we will see Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich but so far Liverpool and Roma has did good job while they're not the most favourite teams to reach semifinal matches but they already proof to the people that they're deserve to get that
