Announcing "Bitcoin Node Day" August 30

The inaugural Bitcoin Node Day, to be held on 30 August, is scheduled to be an annual event to raise awareness of bitcoin around the world.  In particular, the role that bitcoin nodes play in the bitcoin network.  Nodes are essentially the backbone of the network, without them, bitcoin would simply not exist.

The idea is to simply raise awareness about the decline in nodes, and encourage users to update their block chain to the latest block.  We are simply asking the community to run a full node like bitcoin core for the 24hrs. (Or XT, see other threads for that debate)

Good Idea as i can see that this will result in a rise in Bitcoin Price again ,I will run Core on VPNs to boost its existence , anyways i can see 222$ in BTC-e , hope it touches the sky again.
