Yep most of it, some of my btc going to gamble but most of them keeping for price go up
i agree majority of my btc is holding to go price up, rest is for a little bit of fun
If you believe in the philosophy of life is short, you will spend some bitcoins for fun now itself. I believe in bitcoin so I never spend any satoshi now itself. I just hold them for bigger price raise. Holding big amounts of bitcoin also will lengthen my life.

Holding all the bitcoins we earn is not at possible for all the people. So, spending a little bit for some necessary things will not hurt them or not a big issue for bitcoin ecosystem. But many people have justified their action of holding bitcoin is fruitful. So, I just follow them.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I am New with bitcoin I am just foing Faucets for experience. But I was also planing to buy Bitcoin and wait for 2016. Is it a good idea than?
No one can give you valid answer. Bitcoin price currently is very fluctuate.

Check this month and also 3 month before. No one can't expect that bitcoin will rising in this month.

But if you are try to long run, then buy now is a good option.

Yes, selling at the right time and at right price is good decision to make, holding is the good thing to do, I keep on spending it when I feel to spend, we are earning money to spend and for me same goes with bitcoins, I spend it on every weekend as I am not much worried about future, because if it cannot be helpful in present then future is far away, I earn and I spend, simple.

Agreed theirs too much fluctuation on Bitcoin no one expected it to rise 200% in such a short time but also its good when things like this happens as it costs less bitcoin to buy items. Right now is good to sell but also hold some at the same time in case it goes up even more as the up/down ratio is so unpredictable right now. Simple way is trade along the rise and drops best way and hold some for the future if it surpasses that 1300 mark ever again. Who knows got halving of block rewards again next year so will be interesting times ahead to see what the value goes to.

Holding bitcoin for bigger price may be the right thing for passive bitcoin trader or for bitcoiners. But selling at higher prices is must for a active bitcoin traders. So, buying at lower prices and selling for profit is a continuous action for me. I have some bitcoins in cold storage, only those are sleeping for higher price raise.

Yes holding bitcoin is not possible for all the bitcoiners. Maybe holding in part is a viable solution if you believe in price raise of bitcoin. Because we need money for our everyday living. So, we can save only some portion of our earning in bitcoin for some long time.

Iam holding my Coins so far because i think the Bitcoin will rise up again over the highest Price because of the World wide inflation rate.
Also the global Sanctions and the statements from senior Dragie seems like everything goes pretty close to an end maybe in the next 5-10 years. nobody knows exactly..
Anyways i think the BTC can reach a Price of 10.000 $ Dollar each. or even higher. You just have to but the dot several points later on your wallet and you will see the real logic of the increasment.

To hold all of your earnings in bitcoin, you must have alternate source of income for your daily expenses. If we have, then we can save all our earnings in bitcoin. I do save all my bitcoin for future use. I do spend only my fiat earning for my living.

I want the price to increase but not too much. I want it to increase and stay there not like a sudden but temporary increase. The increase should be permanent

Yes, i wait for price increase, and this answer has 233 votes, most of us want to hold bitcoin. The increase of the price i expect to happen in the Q1 2016 and maybe at that time i will spend all of my bitcoins.

All of your bitcoins? That must not a wise decision. I have plans for spending bitcoin too. I'm not earning bitcoin to spend all at one time. I strongly believe bitcoin will go to unbelievable prices like $1 million per one bitcoin. So I will spend only some 25% to 50% at a time when I get my target prices like $10k, $50k, $100k and $1M.

Faith is nice but it should be accompanied by practice. I think that the price in one million is unlikely to be feasible although not denying such possibility.

Yep I am even tho today is Black Friday and there are a lot of good deals in Bitcoin im also going to just keep holding and holding as if my coins where trapped for life. It's either go rich or bust so im not going to be wasting any BTC on anything I don't really need until I have at least 10 or 20 BTC.

Of course who isn't when the market is like this. Not too high or too low, just at middle ground.
It has not risen to sharply so not too many are panic selling right now. Just give it until it reaches 390 and 400 then you will see people starting too sell because they will think it will not get much higher than that. I would say closer to the end of the year as most are speculating that is when it is going to happen at mid peak.
