Thanks for the update, it looks like i'll face execijutierre in the first round after beating fM from the qualifiers.  

It'll be an interesting matchup with a higher chance to go through the penalties as we have four different predictions.

Oh yeah!!! Finally, I have two wins in a row! OK, it's not a "real" win because in the cup a round is only five questions, but a win is a win and I will take it!

Now let's see if I can make it three in a row against dbshck. In the tennis question de Minaur is up against Nadal so there will be one "no" after that game. If de Minaur loses, that's one point lost for me. Maroszan is already out because he lost against Cerundolo, but both of has had him as "yes". Musetti is also out and that's one point for me.

lol the only reason I had 3 yes was because I had no clue on that NFL draft picks. As for Cleveland, kinda expected that they would close it by winning which turned out they didnt so yeah I guess this will be settled between us by the penalties.

And what makes it easier for me is that it wasn't such a close match afterall and that NFL question didn't decide anything in the end as you chose Everton (which was quite risky I might add).

Thanks. Yes, I knew it was risky to go with Everton but believe it or not, I did it intentionally. I lost quite a lot of points in the past rounds just because I went with the expected result. This time I wanted to try something different and it payed off.

Now I have to beat dbshck and make this a winning streak

The result does not reflect how tense the match was, generally the 3x1 score, it are a reflection that a draw was sought and what I achieved was that the score will be expanded.

And looking at some of the results released it's safe to say this is a tough stage we have got to and personally am hoping to go far as the route is short and competition has become tough.

De Minaur vs Rafael Nadal rematch tomorrow, I knew both of them would meet each, so one definitely has to leave before the deadline given, I thought about deeply and knew I could have chosen to play it safe by going for a Yes, Yes or very safe with a No, No, the latter being the better choice because should in case whoever wins tomorrow then losses out on Sunday match, that way, I would get both right and there is no way I would get both wrong with it, but instead I chose to go aggressive with a Nadal - Yes, De Minaur - No. I do hope this doesn't comeback to haunt me 

I was thinking about the same, but then I checked who the opponent could be in the next round, which as far as I know will be played on Sunday before the deadlines finishes. I did pick No, No for Nadal and De Minaur, but I knew that while it is kind of playing it safe, the winner of Nadal - De Minaur will then be up against Tiafoe. On a good day Tiafoe is probably able to beat an out of shape Nadal or De Minaur. But it wasn't an easy one at all as Nadal now has had his first tournament and I am wondering whether he can now significantly step up his game.

Sorry to burst your bubble Tiafoe is not that guy, if you ask me, he's being getting his ass over and again whopped by Ben Shelton. He's not going to be anywhere near a match for Nadal, nor De Minaur. Tiafoe is actually one of the most overrated tennis players in my candid opinion.

I'm so looking forward to the Nadal vs De Minaur game today, I doubt I'll be missing a single second of it.

I get you, but my point was if I play the "Yes, Yes" or "No, No" option, like some people did because they knew they would get one right for sure, I can as well go for "No, No" and still have a shot at the second player getting knocked out as well. When I go with "Yes, Yes", I am guaranteed getting rid of one potential correct answer. I agree that the chances are very low Tiafoe is going to make it far in the tournament and I know how he has been doing lately, but "No, No" still makes more sense than "Yes, Yes".

It looks good to me and now the real battel begins.
First two tennis matches are looking good for me, now I am just waiting for Dimitrov to win and Nadal to lose from De Minaur.

It looks like I'll be up against LTU_btc as Omikifuse didn't take all his penalties (didn't answer all the questions, or maybe it's my browser that's malfunctioning). That said, against LTU there is only a couple of advantage to look forward to, first I hope Palmer isn't fit enough to play, that's cruel of me, but I mean it is what it is  , Both Maroszan and Mussetti have been eliminated, a Nadal win would then put me right on the edge of qualifying for the next round.
