With a new season, new manager that has history in winning trophies, do you think Napoli are back to the form they were when they won the league title in the season 22/23? To me that was an impressive display we saw back then. Now we have Napoli topping the league after a failed start up this very campaign and no one thought they would be at the top till this very moment, out of 7 games 5 wins 1 draw and 1 loss. That's a good one from Conte, doesn't it mean that the new manager is going to transform the club to be a much stronger title contender this season? What are we to expect from Napoli?

For now yes Napoli have a chance but overall not yet I mean we cannot conclude anything based on 7 matches while 31 matches are still waiting based on schedule, we don't know what will happen next, especially when the transfer window is opened at the beginning of the year. As we see now at least 4-5 teams are competing there with a fairly close point difference and each team has advantages, Napoli still dominated from the last few matches and Inter Milan are trying to return to the track while Juventus still holding a record never lost well we can mention it in tight competition but we are also waiting for which team will slip. Anyway, we haven't seen them in a safe position.

Paul Pogba still have future in football, he have a lot of memories to share with his fans because he is a world class player I must always say because of his world class passes and finishes as a midfielder and he had good records with big teams before getting ban. He just needs to get used to the field again for a few months, until he can really return to his good form before getting a sanction. He is still 31 years old, so he still has the opportunity to develop his career again at his new club later. Especially if it is to Marseille, it is a club that is quite developing this season, which will make Ligue 1 even more competitive. And if he can shine again in the future, it is possible that there will be other top clubs that will be interested in him. This is a transition period for him, and he still has the chance to shine in football if he can optimize it later. Source: Paul PogbaIt seems like we're just waiting for the contract signing.

Osimhen is an excellent player. And Osimhen has already proved his mettle. He performed brilliantly in the 2022-23 season. And that's why Napoli dominated Serie A. Napoli dominated Serie A and won the title. And Osimhen's contribution to this was the greatest.
Under Luciano Spalletti's management, Osimhen became a star player. Yes, he performed very impressive in the season 2022-2023. At that time, it was true that Napoli dominated Serie A and won the Scudetto (Serie A title). However, Napoli was getting weaker after Spalletti left the club and Osimhen begin to get many difficulties to maintain his good performance. He has the intention to leave the club, too. Unfortunately, Napoli board always becomes the obstacle. Napoli management wanted to sell Osimhen at a very high price. Many clubs agreed to buy Osimhen for 100 million. But the Napoli management wanted to make more money. And finally Napoli failed to sell Osimhen. Napoli suffered great losses financially. I would say this was definitely a big mistake by Napoli management.
Correct. Napoli management is too greedy. They expect to get huge money by selling Osimhen. Napoli management sets a too high transfer fees. That's why many clubs failed to sign Osimhen. Sure, the main problem is Napoli management, they become too greedy. They hope to get more than 100 million, it is too high fees.

Inter I never expected them to get their form back too soon and Juventus has been outstanding because they don't look like a team that has what it took to be in that position with how poor they were last year.

Indeed, when looking at the previous situation this will be difficult but I don't think it's wrong to try especially for now Juventus are quite energetic under Motta so it is possible that he can maximize the talents that Pogba is missing. But in this case of course we also have to look at some of the possibilities that can occur because in the end all decisions are at Juventus, especially Motta whether Pogba can be there and fit into his plans or not. Interestingly now after the news about Pogba's reduced ban period for now various kinds of rumors have started to exist for this player including rumors for a reunion with Manchester United and rumors about Marseille trying to approach Pogba. To be back at Manchester United I think here is a little complicated but it is still possible when Marseille starts trying to approach and I think besides Juventus the possibility of Marseille is the other biggest when he returns to being an athlete and is free from the ban. Then I should probably reiterate. There are two parties to a deal and one party is Pogba and the other party is some club, obviously. Pogba doesn't have much to offer at this point unless he would be willing to take big cuts in the salary. If he expects a club to pay him as if he was in his prime, this is not going to happen under any circumstances. As I said, the injury list is long, the reputation is down the toilet and there is no good reason for a club to contract him unless the value for the money is good. This would only be the case if Pogba says he is fine with a low salary. I disagree with you about maximizing Pogba's talent. The guy is 32 years of age. There is no maximizing the talent. When a player is 32, you want to bring him on and immediately expect the best. But this unrealistic given his whole situation. What is Pogba's chance really to make it into the first line squad for Manchester United? I can't see how this would be possible and as long as he wants to earn a high salary, the risk-reward ratio is trash for any club. If he says he is going to play for 3.5 million a year, then maybe a club takes the risk and accepts that if is only sitting on the bench, it doesn't hurt financially.

Some players have best times in their career when they are old but very few players have such late shining career. Pogba is not such a player because he achieved many things when he was young and he lack of necessary professionalism to succeed in his old ages. Some players were unknown when they were young, but became best scorers in a domestic league when they were very old, became star players too but I don't have such hope with Pogba. He loves party and with this personal hobby, his career will continue falling down more severely. Serie A Capocannoniere history of winnersDario Hübner Antonio Di Natale Luca Toni Fabio Quagliarella
They are Capocannoniere winners when they were very old and many people did not know about Dario Hübner before a season he won Capocannoniere in big surprise.

I don't think so, some top Serie A teams are currently not showing their best performance and they also haven't been able to maintain their team's consistency, basically Serie A teams are like that and I'm not surprised by what happened because almost every season they struggle at the beginning of the season but slowly there will be positive changes so that will also happen again this season. Regarding the impact of the international break I don't think it will be significant, it will still happen as usual but for the top Serie A teams I think they still need a lot of changes and improvements and maybe in the middle of the season we can see which teams are really strong and consistent.

In my opinion, currently only Napoli is the most consistent in maintaining its performance, after the surprising defeat from Hellas Verona in the opening match, Napoli continues to show its quality with 5 wins and 1 draw. Inter fate was not yet stable, but the defeat from Milan was the beginning of their revival with two consecutive wins. I doubt Juventus quality, even though they are unbeaten in Serie A, but 4 draws from 7 matches indicate that they are not in their best form. Almost every Serie A season there is always a surprise, this season maybe we will see a new Champion like what happened in the last 4 seasons.

I also hope there will be a new champion this season so that Serie A can be more interesting in terms of competition and for Juventus itself I think the team will also try to improve so that they can compete fiercely with other teams and with Napoli who have started to show their quality at the beginning of this season. But if we look at the next match for these two teams, of course Juventus will get a rather tough opponent than Napoli so in this case it could be that Napoli will continue to excel if they can get full points this weekend.

In my opinion in the fight for the Serie A title I put Juventus aside because they are not so solid at the moment, they have Motta and brought them this far but it seems like there are still many obstacles that Motta must overcome or learn because Juventus often waste opportunities until they lose points several times and have to share them. but I see Inter Napoli they are both quite good and have a good strategy from the coach both teams have a strong soul especially the champion Inter they certainly don't want to miss out this season they want to defend the title, and I think that can happen if they can block Napoli's path because currently Conte is a good coach in giving titles if Inter wants to get it then Napoli is their rival.

Most people are quite busy talking about Pogba and Juventus, now there is surprising rumor about Balotelli who wants to return to Serie-A, he is reported to be close to Alberto Gilardino, the coach of Genoa who most likely really has an interest in Balotelli to be able to enter his squad.
There is actually not much to talk about Pogba. Because he will most probably say goodbye to Juventus soon. Because the team seriously thinks of releasing him and Pogba also doesn't make difficulties for them. When it comes to Balotelli, I already indicated that I wouldn't have any problem with seeing him back in the Serie A. But I'm curious how much Genoa will pay for him. If it isn't reasonable then just there is no need. Lastly what do you think about the probable champion of this season? Will it be Napoli you think? After all that progress with Conte I really started to believe in them honestly. For the continuation of how the players will continue, we will just have to wait for the decisions of each team and what steps will be taken in the future. Regarding the candidates for the Serie-A champion this season, I think there will be Scudetto or could say new champion because the possibility of Inter Milan being able to defend the title is not an easy matter considering the development of each team that looks quite significant which is Inter Milan competitor in competing for the title. What is clear is that Napoli is temporarily at the top of the standings under Antonio Conte and he is also coach who is truly very experienced in Italian football which will greatly help Napoli to continue to develop and compete with other teams until they can win the Scudetto again like in the 2022/23 season. I have three team names and they are Napoli, Inter Milan and also Juventus, they are the top three teams but I can't really choose one of them because the competition will continue and Serie-A often shows surprises in determining who wins the title, if you choose Napoli then that good.

The reason why Juventus doesn't want to keep Pogba is obvious, he got "tainted" with this whole thing and they are doing alright, they do not want to get him back to the team and play him and make some chaos happen in the team in the locker room.
I am not saying if he starts playing then he will cause trouble, but others could cause trouble, even if one of the players says something about this drug thing to him then we are going to end up with a lot of trouble and we can't really see anything changing all that easily. This is why we need to consider how this could be a very different situation for them and we need to focus on what to do next.
I believe Pogba at some other team would be a lot better and I can see him playing at Saudi league exactly because of this reason. Because there, he will be the best player or thereabouts when he joins a team and he is going to show how talented he is and he is not going to get players say anything to him, would be a risk to the other player, because unless they are better than Pogba, which only a handful of players in that entire league is, then we are going to see team side with Pogba, making him feel better about himself instead.
Before Pogba was caught in a doping case, we know that he received an offer from an Arab team. So I think he will also get a return offer when his sentence is up. Moreover, currently his contract with Juventus has also been terminated. So currently Pogba is on free status. So from now on there will be a lot of talk from clubs who want the player's services. And one club from France is also interested in Pogba. And many see it as a good opportunity for Pogba. But if Pogba wants to be more reliable at a club then going to an Arab club is the best choice. Because I'm sure an offer will come to Pogba from a club from the SPL. In the past he was a good player not only Saudi Arabian clubs were interested in him there were several top clubs who were still interested in him but now the situation is different only a few European league clubs are interested and so far only Marseille has shown interest in him but offers from Saudi Arabian clubs are still there until now especially if they do not need to spend money to recruit this player then they will be more aggressive in approaching this player, if I were Pogba I would prefer to join a Saudi Arabian club to restore his finances and there he can also get a bigger salary compared to if he was in France which is likely to only get a standard salary, his current age is also getting older I think it will be difficult for him to balance his game.

No doubt, with the result we have seen so far from Napoli, I think one will easily conclude that they are on the right track, they have lost just once and 1 draw that's to say that they came prepared, talking about their form, I think they really need to do more, though they are in good shape but most times they don't win convincingly, Napoli 22/23 season form was a topnutch that was why they won the trophy then however et's not forget that there are more match remaining to be played this season so even though Napoli start toping the league at this early stage, it doesn't mean that the will end up lifting the trophy, there are other competitors in the league, the likes of inter Milan whom Napoli is just toping with 2 points, we can't tell if Napoli will maintain that position till the end of the season because 2 poimts difference is not a big deal, to me, the league is open and it's very much early to conclude who the champion will be this season. Although with the performance of Napoli am impressed, if we should judge with the result so far, Napoli is really trying but they need to be consistent to avoid losing or droping from the position they are occupying at this moment, let's see how events unfold and see if the manager will be able to give the club a good narrative at the end of the season.

This isn't a time to run into conclusion that this particular team is winning the league just because of how well they play or how many points they are using to top everyone else on the table. By the way we have too many hungry teams who are craving to be at the top of the log and with any slit mistake you'd see Napoli dropping while another club will be going to the top, this is why I say all teams at the top 4 need to be mindful of the games they drop point. I trust the manager of the Napoli side because he always delivers even if he doesn't get a trophy he makes a change at any club he manages so this won't be the first time he's facing a club that has much expectations. At least the Napoli side need to be strong in their defense and a little bit of force to be add in the attacking department, if that is done then Napoli are ready to make life a living hell for the other competitors.

Juventus has problems in the offensive line, they could not show the performance they expected. They did not get defeated but their wins are also quite few. Because they are not successful in the offensive line. Juventus is one of the strong teams in Italy. There is a team that is always used to success. That is why the criticism against them right now is that they need to be better. I think Juventus should play for the leadership and be in a better position. I think the four draws they got in seven matches are a problem.

Yeah he is a very gifted player who has a very good records on the premier League with Manchester United before he left but however the only thing is that we are not really sure if Paul Pogba we use to no and love his performance will be the same way because he has been out of the league matches for long now and even if he tries to keep himself very active in training but it could still not be enough when he resumes playing on the 2025.
Marseille would be a perfect decision for him, not sure if Marseille will get him or not, but it would be perfect. The main reason would be Pogba is French, and going back to his home country and doing fine there means a lot, Marseille also built a great team and I am guessing they are going to end up with a great result one way or another, we are going to end up with a lot of money with time as well. Yeah thinking about it that way it makes sense for him to consider going to Marseille since is a French club he would find it very easy plus the respect he would have on the club, secondly playing there will also help him to build up himself very well for other bigger clubs to notice him again, though I'm suspecting that with the current squad of Juventus right now if Pogba shows an interesting improvement they would possibly decide to extend his contract because Juventus needs more players or strikers with the kind of strength Pogba have. So if they offers contract extension for Pogba he will likely agree to it than going to Marseille because Juventus is quite a reputable club I terms of producing a good players, so on that regards if you ask me Juventus is the best option for him because in Marseille the competition on their domestic league is too much and is always hard for them qualifying as the top three of their league and the most favorite teams people mostly like to watch is only few teams, so his publicity will reduce.

For now all the teams in the top 4 have done perfectly well for hanging on till this time and it has never been an easy win in their previous games, until they play some difficult games that's after coming from the break with some tired legs that alone can tell which team is ready to keep that spot on the log. Inter I never expected them to get their form back too soon and Juventus has been outstanding because they don't look like a team that has what it took to be in that position with how poor they were last year.
That means is the same reason they hardly do well in the champions league, having a slow start and when it matters they start making a positive step up but to me by then it will be too late, if that's how you see them. To be honest, the clubs are going to be very serious after the break especially the smaller teams because this is the time to get every possible point and I believe teams would drop point, as for those who stake on the bigger teams should be mindful, because we might be having another welcome upset, much disappointment will happen this very week and the Napoli side can as well be among the teams to mess up.
