Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

Try to avoid betting on Serie A in the last 3-4 rounds of the season. Historically there is a tendency of unexpected results in Italy when everything is decided. Especially the favourites. It is better to focus on those teams trying to avoid relegation than betting on the usual top teams. 

This happens not only in Italy but also in other leagues, we just had yesterday two unexpected results in the Premier League with both Manchester United and Arsenal failing against teams already relegated and teams near the bottom standings.It is normal for unexpected results during this time.

Huge game for AC Milan today. They need the 3 pts if they still want to fight for a CL spot, or at least qualify to Europa League. Their recent form in the league is pretty bad (1W 2D 3L), and they're playing against Bologna today, a team that wants to avoid relegation, so it won't be an easy game for Gattuso & co.

Regardless, I'm going with a risky bet: AC Milan win and BTTS @3.60...Let's see how it goes

Huge game for AC Milan today. They need the 3 pts if they still want to fight for a CL spot, or at least qualify to Europa League. Regardless, I'm going with a risky bet: AC Milan win and BTTS @3.60...Let's see how it goes 

Indeed it would be interesting to see how Milan is going to react in this game. Bologna is a tricky opponent but as they don't have any goal now, they will play free and open thus it is a great opportunity for Milan to get the 3 points.

The fight for the 3rd and 4th position in Serie A keeps getting interesting, AC Milan are now back in 5th position after winning against 9 men Bologna, As it stands Inter and Atalanta sit 3th and 4th respectively, both teams are just 4 and 3 points ahead of AC Milan with 3 matches left to play.

I think Atalanta will be able to secure a spot, I'm not sure about AC Milan.

Despite the fact AC Milan that won against Bologna on Monday night, I'm still not convinced that will not slip into their mediocre performance we've seen in the last one and a half or two month.

They'll play against Fiorentina during next weekend in what could be a make or mar fixture, that'd determine if they can still keep fighting for CL spot ahead of next season.

Different from the Premier League which will end next week. Serie A still leaves 3 weeks of matches for each team. However, we already know the Serie A champions in the previous week while the Premier League champions still have to be determined until the final weekend match.

Last games of AC Milan were unwatchable, i really love this team, but Gatusso should be fired after the season, cause this is mostly his fault in my opinion. He is a very good motivator, a footballer who have seen almost everything in football, but as a coach he won't give Milan a perspective to rebuild this club as a one of the worlds best team. They also need massive changes in their squad. Glad that they are still having chances for the CL because of money. I prefer Atalanta in CL that then, due to their more attractive style.

@Felisk99 I thought this season we will finally be seeing the real Ac Milan step up, and challenge for the title but no they just don’t seem to learn from their lessons. The analysis of Gatusso done by you is legit, and I’ll agree with you that he’s not the right coach for Ac Milan. What Ac Milan currently need is new players, and a new coach who can help them win titles.

Fiorentina is not that weak though, it's a close match i think, only 0-1 goal for Milan but win is a win congrats to Milan. With this win, Milan still has a chance to get a spot for the champions league. 3 Weeks left for Serie A and the fight for 2 last champions league spot is really interesting to see.

I don't think Atalanta will lose points against Juventus, moreover all Atalanta need is just a point more to secure a spot.

Juventus has absolutely nothing to play for, Atalanta are in an incredible form 4 wins and a draw from last 5 matches, amongst which the defeated Lazio and Napoli, there is absolutely no stopping them now.

This Atalanta team have been totally amazing this season and i think they should be rewarded for it by achieiving a Champions League slot. At the moment two spots are already confirmed for Juventus and Napoli with a total of five teams currently comepting for the other two slots. A win for Roma against Juventus is the only thing that can keeping them in contention for the remaining slots.
