No. They are one of the 3 biggest clubs in Turkey but they have very little achievement before 1990. They have 14 championships after 1987, only 6 in 1957-1986 (30 years).
You remember them because they won the championship 4 years in a row in 1997-2000 and won the UEFA cup in 2000.

Fenerbahçe win against Trabzonspor easily. Trabzon is in very bad form, they can't beat Fener at Saraçoğlu for 14 games, if Fenerbahçe wins they become leader, Aziz Yıldırım can buy referees etc.
