I don't think that it is impossible for Leverkusen to win Bundesliga this new season but it will be difficult because if you look at it from this angle, only Bayern Munich have won it back to back and is still the favorite to win the league despite the challenge that they are having in bringing Kompany to be the new caich of the club.

Leverkusen will be playing in UCL which if they don't improve their performance amd stay strong when they get lose matches it can affect their performance. Last season was so smooth for them and all their mentality was winning with no lose, giving them more confidence and motivation till the last match which they lost to Atalanta. Losing a match in UCL can affect their performance in Bundesliga.

You have a good point and concern about Leverkusen because those clubs that do not win often but just did the underdog thing to win often disappoint the expectation of replicating it. Just like when Nopoli won Seria A in the 2022/2023 season, neither the club nor their best striker was able to replicate the success. But I still have a high degree of belief and trust in Leverkusen, they may deliver again, or at least finish at the second spot this coming season. My reasons are simple, the same coach will defend the title next season and nothing has so far significantly changed in the team compared to the last season.

Besides, Bundesliga clubs have not been so challenging for many seasons ago, it's either a certain club or 2-3 clubs performed well and the others performed woefully, which is what is mostly giving Bayern Munich and Dortmund some advantages over the years. But with a viable contender like Leverkusen and their brilliant team in play again, I see it differently. Bayen has not also made a huge change that would warrant fear, and neither is Dortmund. The two teams are the major concern I could see for Leverkusen, so I expect something similar to that of last season, and it's not a crime for an underdog club to replicate its winning, especially when they stay strong as I see with the current Leverkusen.

Probably due to Guirassy and Maximilian Beier's performances last season, I believe both players can score more than 30 goals for Dortmund next season, and they will easily adapt to the club because their former club is in the Bundesliga, so they will not struggle to improve. We don't know the group Leverkusen will be in for the Champions League. Stuttgart is progressing really well in the transfer market so far. Deniz Undav and Ermedin Demirovic are both smart transfers for the CF position.  

Both of them were very productive last season with many goals and assists. But I wasn't expecting them to sign two CFs. Probably they wanted two reliable forwards. There are only 2 formations they prefer to use: 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2. The first one is used more often normally. But after these two solid signings, I would expect 4-4-2 to be used more than before. You know Harry Kane declined to lift the Visit Malta Cup. Actually, there is nothing to get too excited about this cup he knows very well .

I actually expected this kind of spending from them. Especially because they have finished in the second position in the Bundesliga in the last season. So Sebastian Hoeneß will be trying to replicate that type of performance again. And we all know that if they are actually interested in performing well, Hoeneß will have to bring in better players, that’s what they are doing.

I am actually glad that they are investing money to bring in players in the attacking positions. Because in the last season even though they were able to finish in the second position, actually scored a lot fewer goals compared to both Bayern Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. I am also expecting that there is going to be a 4-4-2 formation from them in the upcoming season because now they have strikers, enough number of strikers to go for that formation. Having good strikers and playing only one player as a striker doesn’t make sense to me.

I also don't think Leverkusen can be able to maintain their stand again because the way they played their pre-season matches wasn't encouraging, even though it doesn't required much serious but shouldn't face the kind of embarrassment during pre-season against arsenal, Bayern Munich are really ready to do anything possible to take back what have lost them, Leverkusen will find it difficult to maintain the unbeaten this season. But no one knows the future and maybe Beier will also have the same fate as Haaland or other strikers who can improve their careers at top European clubs.
