Haland maybe a good even great player for the next few years but as soon as he reaches to a huge team like Bayern on their nation or Madird/Barcelona or even Liverpool I don' know, a team that plays for champions league title, he will realize he is not a good role player at all.

What are you talking about? That Dortmund isn't a world class team and they are just some kind of top 5 team in the Bundesliga? Yeah they may finish the league inconsistently but during the last five years they have finished second in the table right after Bayen Munich during 2018-2019 and 2015-2016 season and it just shows that they can even be on par with the top team of their league. If Haland would like to prove himself I think he has one of the best teams to do so and he is on the perfect spot to test his skills, not because he isn't playing for one of the top teams in Europe he doesn't deserve to be seen as a good player.

@EdenHazard let me explain this to you Halland had a release clause of €20 millions which was about to be activated once the January transfer window began, and his agent wanted huge amounts from Manchester United because he knew Ole was desperate to get Halland.

However Manchester United walked away from the deal and his only remaining option was Dortmund, who agreed to pay those huge amounts demanded by Hallands agent. Now I know you’ll yet not be convinced so look at Pogbas transfer from Juventus to Manchester United, it took place only because of the money he made.

I heard that raiola also prevent haaland to move to Juventus as Italian clubs doesn't have a good youngster management. No other choice
Dortmund is the perfect place for him.

Everyone is reacting to Haland move like it is some sort of new superstar is rising but I feel like how he plays doesn't look sustainable. I am not an expert on strikers and I know that a whole team would have better scouts than me so what I am saying is definitely wrong but I am going to say it anyway.

Haland plays with an amazing position knowledge, he knows where he needs to be all the time and that is amazing, however he also depends on his fitness a lot, his power/speed/acceleration etc all helps him immensely, even tho Ronaldo is still super fit and jumps higher than everyone at age 35, "normally" thats not really easy to achieve, most of the time players age badly.

But he's still young. He's got about 10 years+ of  bright future ahead of him. He doesn't need to be as fit as Ronaldo in order to perform well or score goals. We have seen lots of strikers who love to use power and pace but haven't failed to achieve well in top clubs like Salah, Drogba, Aubameyang, Thierry, Rooney. In fact the attributes you have mentioned above should be looked as his strengths and not his weaknesses as a centre forward.

Going to a big team won't stop him... I believe he will even dominate... beside, Borrusia Dortmund is part of the "huge" teams you are thinking of.

Who wouldn't love a centre foward with lots of power and speed?

Haaland will quickly adapt and show his abilities at Dortmund, I'm sure of that.  his age is still relatively young (19 years) there will certainly be many achievements that will be achieved with Dortmund.

For Week 18 there is a very interesting match between Schalke vs Muenchengladbach. The host will obviously play all out to get 3 points. They will cut the distance with the visitors to 2 if they win. This will keep their hopes of finishing in the last 4 of the season. For Muenchengladbach this is a test of whether they will really be consistent until the end of the season to continue to be in the race zone for the Bundesliga champions. My prediction is that the match will end in a draw.

I think it will be an interesting match with a lot of goals, but I am almost certain that if there is a winner with a minimal goal difference, 70% I am sure of a draw.
Two teams at the top of the standings, Mgladbach is even ahead of Bayern and Dortmund.

Schalke put in an impressive performance last night, and this defeat shall hurt Borrusia title chances as they have played an extra game in comparison to Leipzig. If Leipzig win today then they’ll extend their lead to 5 points, and will move one step closer to the title and in my opinion they’ll definitely win this match.

I watched this game on Tv in Zdf as it is free to watch there and they usually transmit always the Friday match of the Bundesliga.The game started with Borussia attacking but without being concrete in their finalization.Soon after a lot of counter attacks from Schalke and the score could have been bigger than 2-0.Schalke played really well yesterday and was a joy to watch.

I think that the January is always a bad month for every team in the Bundesliga apart from Bayern.

A very crazy match between Augsburg vs Dortmund. Dortmund were behind 1-3 but they managed to turn things around to 3-5. Erling Haland is clearly the best player in this fight. He entered on 56 minutes and closed the match with a hat trick. A very brilliant purchase from dortmund.

Crazy game. I checked Liverscore and the game was 3-1, pretty comfortable lead for Ausburg, but now i see the game ended 3-5..wtf??   Haaland, great debut, but against Ausburg with a horrendous defence, just saying   i'd like to see what he can do against teams in the top half of the league table.

Anyways...Up next: Leipzig vs Union Berlin. I'm checking some bookies and it seems like everyone expects a home win + bunch of goals since odds aren't that "exciting" (ML @1.29, O2.5 goals @1.44...meh). My picks: O9.5 corners or O3.5 cards.

Dortmund How a team made 3-3 very quickly after 3-1 and won the match 5-3. Haaland, according to his first match, immediately scored his goal, this man will be very valuable for me.
