Not just because they worked with Guardiola means they should be on rush in the market,  each club management knows what they want in a person to serve as the head coach for their club and if after all set and done they ended up with who they want then their decision isn't something we should doubt yet untill their option fails to improve the team compared to the previous coach.

Of course it is. There are coaches who have won more trophies as coaches than as players. Ancelotti for example. Or we can show Mourinho as an example. Being a coach; Being tactically equipped and not winning trophies as a player are very different things. I see Kompany as a good option.
