Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Might work. Could also go horribly wrong as Coinbase has a known history of shutting down accounts. I haven't read their policy though.

I would but just buying bitcoins off coinbase takes 4 days for me (bank account set up)...not sure if it'll be worth it after 4 days if btc reaches $150  Wink

is this against their policy?  haven't read it.

I don't know. I can't see anything clearly against it here: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/683805-how-does-the-coinbase-referral-program-work- but they do say that they reserve the right to change the policies anytime. What puts me off is their history of rejecting / closing down accounts that do anything they deem unworthy. Anyway, good luck!
