Hey there!

I have been following this coin since Baas announcement and wanted to join in.

I'm holding some coins and was wondering if it's worth staking or mining the coin to help out the project.

Can anyone tell me how many Influx coins I could expect to mine daily using the multipool and a 980ti?

I appreciate it will probably cost more than buying from Bittrex, but that's less fun.

Sorry to ask such a newb question!  Huh

Thanks

Cool Erok.

I was reading your post about staking and thinking about setting up a RPi - I could connect it and power it right on top of my router - setup and forget.

I'm a lot more tech savvy than the average guy on the street but a lot of this stuff is way over my head!

I will try out the multipool this week when I get my backside into gear.

My previous directions a couple pages back should get you up and running in no time. It is super easy really. If you are the least bit tech savy you can set it up and apt-get install xrdp for remoting into it when you need to, then put it next to your router and forget about it except to run git pull's to update it. Smiley

grabbed the instructions for ya. I also changed the swap file size because you really dont need 4gigs to compile:
Code:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade

$ sudo apt-get install git qt5-default qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools qttools5-dev-tools build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libssl-dev libdb++-dev libminiupnpc-dev libqt5webkit5-dev

$ sudo apt-get install libqrencode-dev

$ git clone https://github.com/Coryvmcs1/Influxcoin

$ sudo apt-get install dphys-swapfile

$ sudo nano /etc/dphys-swapfile
scroll to:
CONF_SWAPSIZE=
change to CONF_SWAPSIZE=2048
Ctrl + O to write/save
Ctrl + x to exit
$ sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile stop
$ sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile start

cd Influxcoin
qmake
make

$ sudo nano /etc/dphys-swapfile
scroll to:
CONF_SWAPSIZE=2048
change to CONF_SWAPSIZE=
Ctrl + O to write/save
Ctrl + x to exit
$ sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile stop
$ sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile start

make sure you are in /Influxcoin and run ./Influx-qt

You can also use our simple script like so if you are feeling really lazy :-)

To install Influx-QT via bash script to a RaspberryPi 2 or 3, simply copy and paste this:

neat! does that run a swap then switch it back to normal at the end?

Yeah he is a known fudder. And obviously doesn't understand how many of these there are available. He frequently fuds fairlaunched coins because he has no morals. But he is fun to talk to outside of crypto Smiley.

It comes with the territory. Longevity is the name of the game. Not the overnight get rich quick method. We have all see how those projects turn out. We still have great things in the works regardless of the exchange price. It's usually when people miss the boat that they realize it was a boat to be on.

Aw man you got my hopes up but its still at 6k though someone is sellin a good amount. Under 1k would be a steal. Active dev, fairlaunch, PoS which runs like a beast on a pi with an easy install script, low supply, azure? not sure about azure... I do have reliable hosts im connecting to and getting good speeds on though.... But if it went to 1k I would buy so many! Cheesy
