It was specifically created to be an integral part of PICISI.com's business operations.

2)  Pi was designed to play an integral role in the long-term business development of PICISI. PICISI's mantra is 'Promotion, Promotion, Promotion' this is primarily how Pi will enter the marketplace.  Promotion Contractors are self-employed individuals from all around the world who do PICISI assignments.  They are primarily writers, but also video producers, graphic artists, marketing professionals, and social media experts.  Once registered, Promotion Contractors are able to work on various PICISI assignments to earn Pi.  All of the projects they are working on is to promote the site, our sponsors, and the campaigns featured at the site.

Knowing that cryptocurrencies are notorious for being volatile investment instruments PICISI provides Pi with a level of stability by instituting a value adding 'rebuy' plan -- as we earn fiat we rebuy Pi on the open market.

As a crowdfunding site PICISI expects to earn revenue primarily through fees charged to campaigns, and through various sponsorship opportunities.  The rebuy plan says, earnings in the form of fiat (USD, GBP, CAD, or any other national currency) will be used to buy Pi at public cryptocurrency exchanges.   Also, if an official exchange sponsor is in place, all Pi purchases made by PICISI will take place at that exchange. 


3) It's important to note that PICISI designed Pi to be used as both a currency and a commodity,  Firstly as a commodity to be sold in order to raise startup funds.  But also  to be used as a currency when paying contractors and admins for services rendered -- that is the primary way the currency will be used.  The fundraiser involves a maximum of 10K units and is earmarked specifically for website development.  We don't know how much will be raised but depending on the amount raised that will determine the type of site we will have to operate with. 

You will find that PICISI is trying to innovate how CC is viewed and used.  We agree with you, normally when an investor is looking to buy a CC the objective is to buy low and sell high, the main problem is they don't know what is low or high, so they must research then gamble on their homework.   For the currency (fiat and CC) creator, normally the reason they issue the currency is to raise funds to produce something, so it is normal to see a massive drop in price due to the developer (or country) using the funds raised to pay for the project.  Furthermore, it is also normal, and proven historically, for the value of the currency (fiat as well as CC) to drop, and drop, and drop, over time because the creator of the currency never put the funds back into the currency, and that was never the plan -- it was designed to be a NORMAL one-way street.

That is where the rebuy plan changes everything, our plan is to build then maintain a strong currency. We know the value of a strong currency, we know the value of stability and upward momentum.  When we issue the currency it will likely be at a very low rate, but as we rebuy the currency using fiat earnings produced from PICISI's crowdfunding business the currency will get meaningfully stronger.  90% of our income is expected to be come from fiat fees so as we do more business we have more funds to used to buy Pi. 

Let's look at why we have no problem with an ever increasing price for Pi.  Currently it will cost us $25 to have a 5 second sponsor promo video produced, if Pi is worth $1 each it will take 25 pi to get the video produced.  If Pi goes up for us someone is getting that added value, that alone brings good attention to the currency, if it is the contractor receiving that added benefit it will be even better because his is more likely to learn more about Pi, and only spend it when he needs to.  Continue, if Pi goes up to $2.50 ea that same video will likely be at the same price $25 but it won't cost us 25 Pi any more, it will only cost us 10 pi.   The rate that Pi will increase should vastly out pace the rate labor costs increase, that is one reason why we have no problem with an ever increasing price for Pi.  As implied in the example, when people see and receive unexpected added value in something, they tend to get more involved with it and to tell others to do the same. 

Now of course there will be price fluctuations, and some investors will try to drive the rate higher than it should go that is to be expected.  But an astute Pi investor will look to the performance of PICISI to get a good sense of where the price of the currency should be.  Don't forget we only sell Pi when we have a major capital expenditure to finance, and that will be announced, otherwise we expect 85% of our spending to be with contractors.  We only give it to people in exchange for satisfactory service rendered to promote PICISI.com, our sponsors, and campaigns featured at our site.

Thanks for your support, given the newness of MS and the rather steep learning curve involved I started working on trying to list Pi for sale last night.  Turns out that was a good idea because it was a tremendous amount of work trying to figure things out, I got one listing up yesterday, however it wasn't visible in all of the venues I expected it to be seen.  With an abundance of assistance from Karl today I got the second listings up.   Although there are two different sell orders up they are essentially the same, we are selling Pi (currency code NUMUS) at the rate of 117.75 NXT.

1) download the NXT wallet at NXT.org,
2) create an account, record the account number and passphrased offline, exit the account then enter the account again to make sure that your passphrase is correct.
3) fund your account with NXT; you will need 117.75 NXT for each Pi (NUMUS) that you want to purchase.
4) while in NXT wallet click "Monetary System", then click "currencies", then place 'NUMUS' in search box, and click "exchange"
5) click green '+' to buy NUMUS, complete form as desired, then click "Buy NUMUS" to execute order

14 days ago we announced the issuance of PI.

In the first few hours we raised 1% of the amount we introduced to the market, that was a pleasant surprise, we thought it was because the NXT community understood our vision and was embracing our campaign.   To our dismay not long after the initial embrace we received the three-taps-on-the-back to signal that the hug was over.  Since the time the initial 111 units were sold the next 13 days only another 25 units sold.  That was troubling but it caused us to wonder if the community understood or cared about our project.  The project will eventually prove itself but now is the last time you will be able to get Pi at this ridiculously low rate of 117.75 NXT p/ Pi.

So far no one that earned Pi has offered any up for sale, my guess is they are waiting for steep increases, as an individual (not PICISI) I intend on placing  some Pi on the market so that there is always something for people to buy.  The PICISI rebuy policy says PICISI will buy Pi at prevailing rates with fiat revenue received.
That means whatever the prevailing market rate is PICISI will buy at that rate. 

I don't know how long it will take for PICISI to earn fiat, my guess is the earliest is about 35 days from now depending on the site receives and if all goes smoothly in terms of installation.   But when that day comes I could assure you Pi will be priced farrr higher than it is now.

PICISI is raising funds for a very specific purpose -- to construct the site, regardless of the amount raised we will get a site of some sort.  If we don't raise enough for the most desired site we will use the site we can afford to raise funds for the site we want most.  PICISI will not be raising startup funds by selling Pi after the conclusion of this campaign.

Buy Pi from PICISI today or you will be extremely disappointed later.

PICISI is seeking CAPS accreditation, the Crowdfunding Accreditation for Platform Standards (CAPS) program is an initiative by Crowdsourcing.org to promote the adoption of best practices for the operation of crowdfunding platforms globally. Designed to protect both crowdfunders (people pledging or investing capital) and fundraisers (people raising capital), the CAPS program mission is to foster the sustainable growth of the crowdfunding industry to provide much needed capital for projects and initiatives, start-ups and small businesses. Supported by an advisory council of leading platform operators and industry experts, the accreditation criteria will be reviewed annually to ensure high standards for performance continue to be set as the industry develops. Accreditation is granted based on an interview and a review process. Platforms that do not meet the qualification criteria receive feedback, and upon implementation of the recommendations, are able to reapply.

In order to better appreciate the varying strengths of the PICISI community we have identified 3 specific levels of support:  

Sponsors are individuals or entities that pay a fee to meaningfully engage with PICISI for a set period of time.  For CCs engagement is expected to be sponsorship of crowdfunding campaigns, but it could also be in other measurable ways involving social media and/or Pi investment.

Advertisers simply pay for specific promotions; they may but are not required to engage the site in any other way.

Endorsers are those who support the PICISI vision and have permit the fact to be publicly known; they may but are not expected to engage the site in any other way.
