2016, The Year of Bitcoin?

yes there is no doubt about this that 2016 is the year of bitcoin because we have experienced such a big ups and down in 2016 and in 2016 the number of bitcoin users really increased, and hope that next time every year will be the year of bitcoin.

Every year is going to be a year of bitcoin and still even though I am already contented with the improvements and adoptions that did happen to bitcoin this year. But still we are in the last quarter of the year and there are 3 more months to come. So I am pretty sure that there are still going to expect more in the future.

I don't think so. What if the United Nations recognized Bitcoin as an illegal currency? Or what if UN matched it with a universal currency. There are many threats on Bitcoin being a successful currency that will be use all around the world. Well people have doubts about Bitcoin but when its price skyrocketed many people wnat a piece of it.

Bitcoin had been promoted since the start and yet this hasn't been adopted for the mainstream still. in fact banks are trying to create their own instead.
I think btc will never be in the mainstream still even after all the promotion. so long as its value goes high than what banks will have in the future i think its better this way.

at least 2016 are better than 2015 ,
when in 2015 really a nightmare for everyone who lost money because the price dropped half!
but in the end of 2015 year it is bounce back to $450 after $250 nightmare ,
the fact that in the end of each year always ended up with a good thing like a bounce back price and the movement of bitcoin price always better than previous year.

Yes and price increased double this year in compare to last year, and it also allowed many users to make good profits who sold their coins before the halving when price pumped, and we may see better price as we get closer to the end of the year.

Yes its very hard what is gonna happen we are all happen on nice prices but the bitcoin is unpredictable so no one can know this right now.
I think this year will not be super to be honest.

If you ask me 2016 will be in the books when we talk about bitcoin. This year was very turbulent with the halving, block size debate, the real satoshi and the super hack at bitfinex.
I don't think we experience a year such turbulent.

I think yes its been nice year for bitcoin but not as nice as speculated after bitcoin halving. And another thing that stopped the potential growth of bitcoin price is the bitfinex got hacked with lots of bitcoin competely emptied from their cold wallet.

This year is still on process and there are few months left for this year to end. For me the things that happened this year is already a big impact in the bitcoin industry. And even though there are failure in some cases like that bitfinex for me that is not going to be an hindrance for bitcoin to fall for this year we have saw how bitcoin rise again.

If the SegWit is released in the next few months, the block size will be increased. The price will rise a lot.

2016 has been a signifiantly better year for bitcoin, slowly rising and maintaining it's price with no significant falls in price compared to the whirlpool falls in price the year before, good media coverage getting to the good side of BTC as well.

I think, all year is the property of the bitcoin and also every year the growth of the bitcoin is very good, but sometimes also decline. All of that is something that is very reasonable, because it is bitcoin is a digital currency that is very volatile. Just enjoy it

Well, so far 2016 has been an up and down for btc, but mostly up, that's for sure. I think this is not "the year", anyway. Even better is possible in the future.

Bitcoin has a patern depends on the year try to research for it and you will see what i am talking about i think there really a patern that bitcoin will be really go up and it will never be down i think and this is my prediction base on the price last two years.
