Mark Karpeles, the CEO of bankrupt bitcoin exchange Mt Gox, has denied claims he manipulated account balances while he was running the Tokyo-based company.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

As long as he is still in jail, I could care less what he denies. Hopefully the japanese will make a few of these charges stick, so he can have a nice jail cell just for him in the future.
