what is staking en the ruby wallet

and few coins need for staking

Staking is interest earned for keeping coins in your wallet. APR is 5% and you must have the coins in your wallet for a minimum of 8 hours. Keep in mind that the more you hold the faster/more you'll stake. Given the rise in attention and price I would expect the staking difficulty to be up a bit, so it'll likely take several thousand to stake in a reasonable time now.

The moderated thread makes me stay away.

There is a very old thread that was unmoderated, but dealt with too many scam accusations, thus the reason for the new thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=459622.0

Well what if some accusations are true and there are some suspicious things? There is no community or activity in this coin either.

well you would be wrong. If you make accusations you should be able to support them.

As far as community, you obviously haven't been in our IRC room. #rubycoin.org on freenode. We consistently have over 80+ people in our room at all times.

Stop by and visit our community!

you mean a block bootstrap?

https://mega.co.nz/#!CV82HRCJ!fhKaskMrS-0881k26f_LVwY2d_KrUTNdxHqqcFHjjug

This should sync you to about block 208775.

unzip and put in either .rubycoin dir on linux or if windows put it in %appdata/roaming/rubycoin folder, then open you wallet.

I am not so long with RBY, but glad to be here too. I like POS coins, they don't have a constant dumps by miners. Stable and growing price looking good too.

Sure is nice when a PoW coin changes over to PoS isn't it? Things like this happen when they do.

Good possibility it's coming out this week according to polo chat logs from fuzzyhobbit. He is trying.

Excellent! Any word on an adjustment for qualifying amounts?

recently a new RBY minimum of 2500 for TraderDaddy was discussed, but value keeps going up, so there is a chance that the required RBY for TraderDaddy could be slightly lower than that.

Last I heard he was hoping to have TraderDaddy out this week. Fingers Crossed!
