From what i've gathered it seems like a 50/50 sort of gamble, since you are betting no market noise movements and not any fundamentals, so yeah its way more of a gamble than traditional trading.

More of a gamble than traditional trading because you don't need to be familiar with the markets to profit, just go on with what you think would happen, either up or down. 50-50 chances, there is.

with enough market knowledge and experience, secondstrade can be profitable for some people that can predict the price of bitcoin/whatever currencies are tracked on there. this possibility to gain an edge is also the reason why seconds trade has such a high house edge which is visible on the win multiplier.
