Can you tell me more detail on POS?

How long does it take to stake? I see you said on your thread about five minutes, but I had my wallet open for 8 hours yesterday and none of them went into stake.

How can I calculate how much I will earn on staked coins?

Anything else you can add to how much stake per day etc?

When do the coins come out of stake?

I do not see any info on your thread about it...

You can get an idea..

It should take about that long for your coins to mature and begin building weight. That doesn't mean you will get a block that fast though. You need to build up enough weight to compete, and that can take a little while if you have a relatively small amount of coins.

Thanks everyone for your replys.

I see you stake about every 4 hours. Ya mine is not staking anything I have 100 coins right now and none of them will stake. Guess I will leave it open and see if it finally goes.

Does the wallet need to stay open to collect stake?

How long does it take to get them out of stake and can you remove them from the stake manually?

Thanks

100 coins is a pretty small amount relatively speaking. Small amounts may see coin maturation take longer than others.

In order to stake you need to leave your wallet open.

If it is password protected (HIGHLY suggested) then you need to make sure it is open AND unlocked.

Coins remove themselves from stake pretty quickly. You cannot do it manually though. The best way to do it it to lock your wallet (preventing more coins from going into stake) and wait for your funds to become available again.

Save wallet.dat and redownload the chain. It will solve it.

Just a few thoughts:

- The coin is kinda new and it's slowly gathering attention and a bigger community acceptance.

- Greed turned into Greed Evolved that turned into Swing. The two earlier projects were experiments but everyone was able to swap their older coins for the new Swing. No one was left out burning.

- Swing is a more serious experiment, extremely innovative rewards-wise.

- Marketcap is super low. There are very little coins across both exchanges (YoBit and Bittrex). And not many people are selling.

- People that understand the 'swinging' are able to mine/stake at the best times and optimize their rewards.

- I've talked a bit with the dev, it's pretty obvious that the way to go is community wise. He's here and active, but he is very welcome of our thoughts and actions. Anyone can contribute and be part of the Swing future.

- A lot of further 'work' can and will be done for Swing, inspired by the community. Some of it is already coming. Things such as cloud or mobile staking, Web wallets, mac wallet, integrated Block Explorer, Swing charts with live stats, a new website, translations, promotion, etc.
In times like this, most of it is pretty cheap since everyone has something they can contribute with.

Probably would be wise to add the Swing fund address to the OP, and state the areas of future growth, so things can be accomplished.

And I'm sure when this starts to roll, when everyone realizes how cheap Swing is according to supply, everyone will be quite happy they were part of it.
