Yeah, halving is the one to give the profit. The big increase happened before few weeks and the upcoming halving gives the hope of good earning. So till halving holding is the right investment than investing into some websites.

The biggest problem is that if they scam on the internet they most probably will have no consequences. In real life, if they borrow money and don't pay it back they can expect someone to come and beat them up (it's a rather good persuasion strategy).
When lending you can still ask for escrow and collateral, it may limit greatly your losses or even make a loan risk free.

You claim hashflare and genesis as a trusted choice for could mining and I have to ask why and what makes them so trusted?  I was interested in cloud mining a while ago but I never seen where you can make a profit.

In my case as an investor, I am so I always exercise caution before putting my many and my strategy is to select the profitable industry and the invest on the business within the industry. I don't see investing with cloud mining profitable and due to negative feedback in the community, I lose my appetite in doing so.

I think if you need to invest it then you should put it in gambling casinos. Because that's the safest and I think will give you a sure profit without doubting that it will just lost your investment. Gambling sites are one of the successful online businesses when it comes to virtual.

I will explain my reaction.  Firstly these btc gambling sites are often an online venture only tied to no real indentity or business.  Just as any anonymous,  online venture many will take the btc they hold once it is big enough and run.  There are only a few exceptions,  but i have personally been scammed by a dice site.  It doesn't matter if they are provably fair when they can halt all larger withdrawals pending manual verifcation and then change the withdrawal address. 

Secondly most wouldnt consider anything related to gambling,  or investing in gambling to be a sound investment.

1) Like you said, there are exceptions (I would trust 2 dice sites with money)

2) Gambling is not a good investment, except when you are the casino 
If you have odds on your site, it's mostly a matter of time before winning money

3) You can check dicesites.com , they have stats on the biggest dice sites of the moment. All of them are profitable (of course), which makes them good investments.

For me I recommend lending, you can give loans here on this forum or invest on p2p lending sites like btcjam , etc. You can also try your luck on gambling or investing on HYIPs though it's not recommended.
