Gambling. Is It Wrong?

I have gambled alot till now with both dollar and bitcoin. For me in past i used to gamble mostly in paidverts but recently i have lost around 0.10 btc in santoshimines. I am still gambling a lot and also sometimes i used to bet in football (EPL for present).

Such a small amount, this is a controlled gambling you made there.

we have all been there it is an addiction and as long as you have got money in your pocket (or in this case satoshies) you can continue on gambling them away and wasting both your time and money.
but you should fight it and give it up if you want to stop your losses.

Gambling is not wrong. It will be wrong if it makes you lose a lot of money and is an addition. If you win money every day through gambling, nobody is going to complain.

Gambling was made to make the people feel light after their work in office for hours, but it was taken in wrong way and people sell their house and loose all. So its wrong as long as you bet to win. As long as you bet for fun, its best way to relax !

Its very beneficial to the bitcoin economy we have such a great tool to gamble with.  Even if only used for gambling bitcoin could become successful in just that area.

i don't think we can fully erased gambling in our lives. its already part of some people's life, but we can avoid it.if you think gambling just cause problem to your life , just stay away from it. and also avoid this section if possible

we definitely can't completely avoid it but you can hope to play responsibly.

I had learned the hard way about gambling lost 50 euros ,my brother made on the same time sports bets and tooked around 70 euros of profit then i dont know what happened to his balance ,but were around 2 months betting into football just as me .Soo can get a easy income but the risk involved is higher then the reward.

Their is 2 types of answers , gambling is wrong and gambling is not wrong,

gambling is wrong, if you play in casinos and play without strategy you lose you money , but what ever happens at the end the site owner wins and you are going to lose it .

gambling is not wrong, if you play in sports betting and that too like business, in business we sell products at 5 or 10% margin itself ,  so in sports betting it will earn you only 10 or 20% but at the end you will see that you are in profit .

So you mean that when you are in sport gambling you will end up in profit but others will just lose? I guess you are wrong on this, every gambling need luck to win no matter what type of gambling it is but different from sport gambling, it is based on gathering more information to win so these are two different kind of things

actually that's what i am trying to do, to completely avoid gambling but its hard so i just decided to still gamble. this time i have to control my self from being too much greedy and i have to gamble moderately

Some people say bad advertisement is never bad. But in this case this gives an excuse to governments to takes actions against bitcoin...

Well governments  just attack bitcoin because they havent how to control the ammoung of bitcoin each one has,the others gamblings besides online they all pay a fee to them soo they stay ok with them,bitcoin gambling world the government are getting 0 since as i know no one has a real license to work,and well bitcoin doesnt need it.

You think gambling will force governments to fight Bitcoin? They don't care about gambling that much because it's the private sector. What they care about is money being moved in and out of the country without their knowledge and used to buy weapons and finance crime. If the latter won't force their move against bitcoin the former most certainly will not.

Gambling... it sucks. Like drugs you should not try it.
