The first time I went with my father to the horsing races, he told me that my mind set should be of having a good time. That day we lose each penny we decided to spent betting, but had a helluva of day.

Yeah at least you had a good time with your father nothing is money worth it that having some time with your family. So yeah that is true you can a lot of money and still having a good day so that gambling can be never wrong. |

yes absolutely even I have made a stratagy to earn a lot of money and do you know what that is...it is just stay away from gambling..and work hard on other jobs or any skills

The Truth lies above. Gambling gave me only losses, I tried many times, but only losses :C You know what you can try playing poker or game that you don't play a agains a house edges. They are some gambling that you can win in one night if you are some good research it it. Still you need skills and a lot of luck. |

Gambling is legal in many countries. There is nothing wrong with that. If you are not addicted to it, gambling is fun and good entertainment. If gambling is not allowed in your country, go to another country to play.
it's legal somewhere because it's make huge profit mean high tax pay, not make it's right. prostitute, weapons, underage marriage,... so many things are legal somewhere too but, well... |

Gambling is not wrong in the sense if you are doing it with the money you can afford to lose.
It is not easy to always win, but losing is always a risk.

Yeah, you are right in a way, but what about drinking alcohol, playing games, watching TV series endlessly and many other bad habits. I think it's up to you whether it is a bad habit which ruins your life or just fun. |

Basically you loose and you win based on your fortune, you can not really say gambling is wrong when you loss. I say this because I find gambling is right many times when ever I made some profits from gambling. |

Its just that you are unlucky and luck is not on your side.  Do you still gamble despite of your losses? Better luck next time I guess. |

gambling is not wrong at all in my opinion if you want to gamble you can do that, but i wouldnt play with very big amounts of money as it would lead you into getting broke and having nothing in your pocket

Until no one will realize the real nature of gambling. Because our lifetime is not enough to find out whether gambling is right or wrong. We need one full lifetime to find out it and we could not use the out come of our analysis in our own life. |

no, its not wrong in the sense that its the people that make the decision to fall into the trap and become addicts, its their faults. and "gambling with money you can afford to lose" is just such a terrible way of thinking, its as if youre accepting that youre throwing that money away to waste a bit of time, just not worth it, ever. |

If you are broke because of gambling, then, yes, it is wrong. IMO, gambling is not wrong, it is just your own fault who makes yourself broke by gamble everything you had. |

Gambling is wrong , yes because it makes you loose all your money and no way you can get back it legit. so yes its wrong sometimes
If a gambler wins, then it changes the result. the effect of too much winning in gambling could be addiction...and the result of too much loosing is the same. either way, greediness is what makes it wrong.  |

Dependence to gambling will never become tolerable. If we treat gambling as a way of just having fun and not source of income and at the same time enjoying the process, as long as you don't hurt anyone(family,friend,co-workers anyone around you ) then it's not wrong just don't abuse it.
