For me gambling is not wrong because gambling is just for fun not for having lots of money or it rise you for being poor.
Maybe in other religion this game is wrong but i think i s just for fun..

nothing is wrong untill you take that in a wrong way, gambling is two type some play for fun and some play to earn , rick peoples play for fun because they want to show their richness and they dont care when they lose it. for middle and poor players gambling is for earning when they lose it they get panic. then they start blaming gambling sites.

Indeed. But, IIRC, there is this one guy (Archie Karas, IIRC) who turned $50 into $40 millions! Eventually he still lose it all. :-( And that only proves that gamblers don't know their limits. He could easily stop and grab the money but he wanted more and more. The winners in gambling are not the one who won, but the one who know when to stand up and go home with their money. |

But some people are more prone to become addicted to gambling than other, so you cannot predict if gambling is going to be a problem ro not, until you actually try it, and if you try it may be too late already, as some people that have this underlying addiction only takes 1 single spin to become hooked, so I would be wary, but normally most people dont have any serious issues with it. |

At the end is gambling fun in my eyes. Of course the motivation is to win money, but when i play poker for example, i play for the fun and not to win millions (that i will make with bitcoins in the future i hope  ). Imo there is no wrong or right in gambling. |

that's the thing lol many people believe gambling is like earning so become emotionally attached to losses and wins this ruins gambling lol but then again gambling is a individuals choice if its worth the money and you have fun why not I guess lol  |

This thread has changed so much. I used to see people crying about losses, ethics and morals and now all I see is 'business and entertainment' That's what gambling is, you can try to fit your moral opinions in every business be it banking, gambling, or fast food, but business is all that it really comes down to. |

This, i knew someone who is flying model airplanes, he has also fun but invest a few thousand euro in the last year in his hobby. I think at the end you will always lose money, the big winners are the gambling sites.
i strongly believe that it is the correct opinion, people always loose their money because of the house edge, but i must say that gambling is not wrong and everyone can easily do that |

None of religion I think mentions anything about gambling, yes though some may. But I feel gambling is wrong in just one scenario when you loose control over yourself and just gamble all the money blindly. uhmm i doubt that none of the religions say anything about gambling, first of all you waste your time when you gamble and secondly you want the money of others it must be a bad thing in some of the religions |

None of religion I think mentions anything about gambling, yes though some may. But I feel gambling is wrong in just one scenario when you loose control over yourself and just gamble all the money blindly. Yeah it is wrong if you abuse your self for being greed and addicted and you will loose control It can cause to loose all your money for nothing. but if just having fun and you can afford to lose its just ok and there is no wrong with this business. |

Not only small amount gambling but also it is not good to gamble everyday instead just gamble sometimes than you can enjoy the game and if your lucky you can make money. It is wrong if you can't control yourself and chase winnings in gambling. Luck will come only sometimes so in gambling we can't win every day. |

We all don't know how to gamble at first. that is why there is "beginners luck" which means, most of the new gamblers win and lose in the long run. and I guess that its their greediness that makes them lose. |
