I don't think it is wrong to gamble if you choose to do it and you are only risking your own money. However, you shouldn't expect to make money with gambling. The odds are against you, but you could get lucky.

Yeah definitely, it is only depending on the person on how he is going to gamble so if he loses all of his money because he can't help his self. Then that is becoming wrong because he is the one that is controlling his money. It is just becoming wrong when too much gambling playing time is accumulated but you must need to know your own limitation. |

Correct , never use your un-needed money for playing gambling (like from your family or your loan , it just makes you broke if you lose your bet ) . If you want to play gambling , make sure you use your money and if you lose it doesn't matter because you used your money not the others . |

Yeah but its like that for many other things. Some people overspend money on cars, clothes, food, etc. And its affects their life because they don't have money but is that ok? Since its not gambling. I don't think so. |

It tends that when people gamble they don't care on how much they are going to lose with gambling even they are setting a limitation to the amount on it. And it is going to be wrong if they are going to keep on doing that and they are not realizing on the amount they are losing. Just always gamble what you afford to lose. |

Religions will always be against gambling, but disregarding religion, if you know that it will not bring you any good, for sure it is wrong for you to gamble... Majority of the gamblers cannot control their emotion, it all started when what you are betting is the amount you cannot afford to lose as you will not easily accept any defeat on that, you will chase until you realize in the end that you are already losing more so you will be force to go all in win or lose. |

Correct , never use your un-needed money for playing gambling (like from your family or your loan , it just makes you broke if you lose your bet ) . If you want to play gambling , make sure you use your money and if you lose it doesn't matter because you used your money not the others . If we have no commitments with our gambling results then there is no need to worry about initial bankroll needed for gambling. If you need to repay from your gambling profits, then you will be under pressure. When you are gambling under pressure, surely gambling will be giving you wrong results. This might be the reason people are calling gambling as wrong after gambled wrongly. |

Yes its not illegal in most places to gamble but keep in mind that most Governments tax the casinos heavily. So they make it legal to earn profits.

Well, not all countries did that as I am living in a corrupt countries and casinos in our country usually does not pay the right taxes. And take note if not properly monitored casinos are one business where launderers can launder their money, it is just quit possible for the casinos in our area as they are not subject for the AMLA which would require them to submit covered and suspicious transactions. |

For those who do not have any knowledge about gambling, I will say it is wrong for them to gamble as they are not able to earn back their invested money into gambling, they will lose all of their money sooner.
Yeah, gambling is risky to people who know about gambling and it's even more risky to people who don't know about gambling and i think gambling it's not wrong if you know how to do it.You see, that's the problem all gambling addicts are having, they all think they know how to do it. I don't think gambling is wrong but thinking that you know how do it is wrong in my opinion. That way of thinking leads you to big loss. yes they think they can and will always win , they gamble confidently but got a disappointing result everytime they gamble , they think they know how to gamble properly to win but they don't. i can not see gambling are wrong , i only can see yourself are in wrong condition when you gamble. As long as your not addicted to it. The addicted gambler is what is wrong here. Just accept if you loose and never too greedy if you win. You must set a goal. Even if you are not addicted to it, gambling will still be wrong no matter what you say as long as your playing gambling it will still be a wrong doing for a person because it is tempting people to throw away their money, tempting people to give in to their greed and often taking advantage of poor people who think they can gain instant wealth. Don't be so harsh with gambling man, it will never be wrong. Gambling is purely for fun and this is not for everyone so if you feel that gambling is not good for you then why bother, just play what you like and stay away in gambling. I love gambling and I see it just for fun. Yes there are lot that is saying gambling is for Fun but the fact that gambling can be really wrong will be always there the fact that gambling is tempting each and everyone of us here in playing it and taking for granted and playing it in desperation in winning something from it, and I think that gambling is really prohibited in some countries! I think that's not true, because gambling is a system designed to satisfy the mind of each of the players. If you say that gambling is very tempting, then it only exists in your mind who wants to get a big advantage in gambling. If you are wrong in referring to the intention then you will get evil Yes that is the point! I am saying that some gamblers are getting tempted in playing gambling and getting tempted in betting all of their money in one bet and yes I know that many gamblers out there that has already been addicted in gambling and yes I think that gambling is already commit many evil ways in a human behavioral and in s spiritual behavior too! |

Too much of anything is bad for us, just like in gambling, if you do it in moderation, I don't see any problem with that... Abusing gambling is what makes it bad, not to mention that some gamblers invest not only money but also their emotion in their bets, that's worst, the end point of that will be desperation and then addiction after. |

yes for me and theres a five reason why gambling is soo wrong and we don't need to play gambling just for money -_-
1Because it denies the reality of God’s sovereignty (by affirming the existence of luck or chance)
2Because it is built on irresponsible stewardship (tempting people to throw away their money)
3Because it erodes a biblical work ethic (by demeaning and displacing hard work as the proper means for one’s livelihood)
4Because it is driven by the sin of covetousness (tempting people to give in to their greed)
