Gambling. Is It Wrong?

It depends on your intention or reason why you gamble. If you gamble for fun then it might not be wrong because maybe you just want to beat stress and forget your problems for some time. In this way, your emotions is not that compromised and whether you win or lose it doesn't affect your financial status because you have a limit. But if you are gambling for profit and turns out that you lose and then gamble again to get back what you loss then it is wrong if you use money that is intended for other purposes that are far more important than spending it to gamble.

i just think that gambling basically aren't wrong , things make it wrong are when you as a player treat gambling too serious and over reacted. when you lost better to accept that fact and don't be so stubborn to keep chasing your losses because of your naive feeling .

let's take a view from wider side , if you do one sided view then you will never find a conclusion.

For me gambling isn't wrong as long as you're responsible at home and you fairly win your games when gambling. If you're a heavy habitual looser and irresponsible at home then I think gambling isn't for you and it will be wrong in every sense.

It really depends on belief and culture.. There are other culture that don't never gambles because they believe that it is not a good deed. For me though is that, my parameter is that as long as I have not step in on others right and feeling and I don't do harm on them, that is fine and of course as long as I am happy with what I am doing

They are the owner, that's why they have built that and it's really hard to maintain a casino too, you know. Knowing that you could be vulnerable to hacks and cheating by players especially if you are a famous casino. Well, those are probably addicted gamblers, which they think that they are going to trade what they still own in order to get back what they have lost.

I think that it brings more losses than win because you know that people cannot get lucky many times. I know it is not a valid argument, but it happens a lot and is accurate. If you want to win, bet with your friends and use your manipulative skills to manipulate them and read their actions. It is easy. I always win and get all the money. They always get surprised. Its good to see that you didnt join the bandwagon seeing your friends. Many people just join gambling because they are jealous of their friends earnings. If you find it wrong then its wrong and if you find it right then its right. It totally depends on your own discretion and not others. Because at the end of the day the burden of thought will be on you and you cant hide it from your conscience.

Gambling is not wrong as it is giving employment to people. However, those people who are playing too much that is bad thing about gambling. People should know when to stop gambling. They should control themselves and not to get close to addiction. For me, there is a 10% of luck/chances in gambling so I really don't recommend it to people.

Yes gambling is not wrong but I will not agree with what you had said that it is giving employment to the people. No, gambling isn't giving employment to the people the house does have it's employees but gamblers will never be employed if they are simply gambling alone. Don't say that you are making gambling as a source of income, if that is so you are not on the right track.

Well, then you must be the intelligent one in your crowd of friends. I have always admired those people who learn from others mistakes. It is wise to not play with snake when you already know that it's one of the deadliest animals. We know this fact about snakes due to others experience. Same stands good for gambling. No need to try by your own when you already know the outcomes.

It is true that gambling cannot be considered as a method to earn money. It is a risky game where you risk your money and it can go both ways which the player accepts. So if you are willing to take the risk then you can gamble but if you are not willing to then dont. Because gambling sites and casinos are the real profit-makers if you are not cunning and lucky at the same time you cannot make any profit off it.
