I have doubts they will actualy pull this off without some sort of barter system like Bitcoin to aid in payments. Some people will always want the option to hold onto their wealth personally. That may be cash under the mattress or paper/hardware/other form of cold storage. Personally I wouldn't want to put my complete trust into such a centralized payment system without. It's kinda scary! On the other hand if it were completely decentralized like Bitcoin it would save the world |
