Beam, a start-up that allowed Africans to instantly remit money by using bitcoin, has announced shutdown of its Bitcoin remittance services.

Well that's lame. Bitcoin could be huge for the remittance market but I think at the moment is not enough people are aware of it or are going to use it so it may be too early for bitcoin to become popular which may scare businesses off from using it.
