Hi All,

I would suggest that ALL coins would make a version 2. Why? Cryptsy is holding a lot of small coins, KARMA, LOT, MOON, LEAF, ....

maybe they have a supply of 80% of all the outstanding coins, so we should all make KARMA2, LOT2, MOON2, LEAF2,... type of coins and swap the coins that aren't on cryptsy.

This will mean Cryptsy wouldn't be able to dump their coins on other markets and make another few millions and it can give the current owners of those coins maybe some money back if they were able to withdraw at least a few coins...

Are you suggesting a hard fork to fuck Paul. Genius! Wait! Paul likes to be fucked hard, ergo not a punishment, but a reward.

Cryptsy down *now* + Horus hiding.. Where is Mulick ? Why did he vanish ?

http://yro.slashdot.org/story/16/01/16/028228/cryptsy-bitcoin-trader-robbed-blames-backdoor-in-the-code-of-a-wallet?utm_source=rss1.0mainlinkanon&utm_medium=feed

That link i'm told tracked the LTC.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/cryptsy-bitcoin-trader-robbed-blames-backdoor-in-the-code-of-a-wallet-498994.shtml

Quote
Irony has it that Cryptsy was in touch with Secret Service Agent Shaun Bridges on an unrelated matter just around the time of their own robbery. A few months later, Bridges was arrested and pleaded guilty to stealing a large sum of Bitcoin from the Silk Road investigation. He was later sentenced to 71 months in prison.

Timeline:

July 29, 2014: $6.5M+ USD worth of BTC stolen from Cryptsy. (Don't get ahead of me!)

March 30, 2015: https://darknetmarkets.org/2-federal-agents-in-silk-road-case-face-fraud-charges/

Quote
Two former federal agents are expected to be arrested on Monday on charges of stealing money while working undercover on an investigation into Silk Road, the once-thriving black market website for drug dealing, a document shows.

The former agents are Carl Mark Force IV, who worked for the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Shaun Bridges, who worked for the Secret Service.

Well, the media's getting closer, but "irony" doesn't equate to a boldface lie even though technically eight months could be considered several months, and in no way justifies Paul Vernon using Shaun Bridges' arrest as an excuse as to why the FBI wasn't informed of the theft.

I'll suck off and cup balls of every guy here if Bryant Ibana is proven to not had wind of the theft.

Maybe it's crazy but this and other similar situations of coins being stolen demonstrates the benefit of having a way to reverse transactions.

Perhaps we should consider a mechanism to reverse a transaction through a vote or consensus. Haven't fully thought out how this could work but it is something to consider.

Something could be designed to allow miners to reverse a specific transaction (and all subequest tx's) through majority consensus in extreme situations such as this.

Mistakes and thefts happen. Fiat banks have the ability to correct mistakes and reverse transactions unless the funds are withdrawn for cash.

I dunno...just thinking out loud.

I just filed a ticket for the hell of it.. lol HEY I cant trade, dep or withdraw..but my balance is off by 1/3 *gets popcorn* lol

I asked and they said everyone should see proper balances soon. There was an issue with password resets not working and apparently that issue is fixed as well now. Just passing along info Im getting.

Asked who? Who answered? Sure wasn't Paul Vernon by your account a couple posts earlier. Since you're no longer employed, why is the source replying such to a person who's no longer on Cryptsy's payroll?

grasping at straws now man, dont want to come across as desperate. Just because Im not on payroll doesnt mean Im not willing to help try to do anything I can to get coins back for people.
then tell your friend to kindly return the funds he is clearly now attempting to run away with after stealing them in the first place. did i not say to you any claims of stolen funds will be a lie? did that bloody rat jshock and the punk calling himself ban hammer not dish bans out to anyone that even suggested anything apart from technical issues was wrong . has far has i am concerned you all guilty in this attempt to run away with our stolen funds until you prove yourself innocent. and btw why did you not tell us you moved office claiming it was for cost reasons and you did not give your new address then your big bird vulture boss comes out with this pile of shit excuse days after . has of now like i said you are all guilty even those fake female admins you have answering tickets telling people technical issues are blocking withdrawals . so what part of big birds pile of dung fits the description of a technical issue with our withdrawal systems. and what part of i got robbed millions but did not report the crime to the feds because i plan to use other peoples money to make back the millions .oh wait let me remove trade fees so more can put money in . i don't see how this is not 5 year minimum for whoever is involved in this . and something like 10 for big bird. so don't think you welcome here and talk yourself out without providing any proof of your supposed innocence in this crime . big bird come out of your hole.
has horus posted anything after this post ? no my guess is they are coming here to feel us out .so they plan the next smoke screen. get your fans out this so called dos bull is just another gimmick just like the our wallets are down . and what was wrong with their xrp wallet for e.g. in the first place . and why is it that people that gave out bans to people suggesting what they just came out to admit .theft of coins. now seems to have no answers and have now turned into some fairy that knows nothing and only wants to help . but i work there and don't know anything i am just saying me personally i am innocent. has i don't want to have to watch my back for the rest of my pathetic life . why has your boss posted is bullshit and is now no were to be seen or heard . nobody gives a fuck about your personal problems or feelings here. you are only seen has the cunts that are currently orchestrating the theft of our money. that is for your i,m grasping for air statement . your thieving bastard of a boss will get what he deserves and so will all of his minions that took part in this attempted theft. so don't think you can come here and bullshit your way out of this. I BET YOU GUYS ANY MONEY THEY COME OUT WITH .OH THAT STATEMENT WAS NOT REALLY PAUL VERNOM IT WAS A HACKER THAT BROKE INTO THE SERVER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN EVERYONE WAS FAST ASLEEP AND POSTED IT TO DISCREDIT CRYPTSY . even if you have debts our deposits is/are not your companies personal possessions were you can decide to do with has you please. and get attached to . withdrawals of all coins not included in your big birds statement are affected by exactly what?

I won't take that bet... sounds like a a good possibility.
However, if that's the case... what is the true assessment of Cryptsy's state?

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

very very interesting idea

as far as understand this idea : make exchange karma > karma2 and so on : coin exchange for small coins with big cryptsy wallets

but how to exclude cryptsy wallets from this coin exchange

for most small coins only small part of cryptsy wallets known, a minority

some wallets can suspect as owned by cryptsy, but no clear proof of ownership

I BET YOU GUYS ANY MONEY THEY COME OUT WITH .OH THAT STATEMENT WAS NOT REALLY PAUL VERNOM IT WAS A HACKER THAT BROKE INTO THE SERVER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN EVERYONE WAS FAST ASLEEP AND POSTED IT TO DISCREDIT CRYPTSY .
I won't take that bet... sounds like a a good possibility.
However, if that's the case... what is the true assessment of Cryptsy's state?

After lying to customers for 18 months, claiming to be legit, liquid, unhacked, etc... Craptsy is done, they lost customer trust, which is game over

Well, my personal experience with Cryptsy has never been bad... but I understand that doesn't mean others did have a good experience.
It's sad... it plummets prices, causes fud, calls for more regulation talks start.... ugh.

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

You're port scanning Incapsula, which is basically a Anti-DDoS proxy for Cryptsy. Impossible to port scan Cryptsy now unless you find their hidden domain and they didn't firewall it off again. I can't find it now, but Gleb posted a while back about their internal network being exposed to the internet and it was indexed by shodan. The domain was provestnet.net, so feel free to check that out I guess. It's probably locked down now though.

HTTP redirects to HTTPS so it will show you if it's up
