The Russians are ranked pretty high since the closing of the site  Grin

In a dead and bankrupt exchange with no plans for recovery announced, that doesn't mean much. Kinda reminds me of MtGox's trades after it's withdrawals being suspended.

Your appearance here is a typical example of "the pot calling the kettle black"
What happened? Was spoetnikcoin not listed at cryptsy?  You and BitJohn were such a close friends.... (see link below)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833442.msg9323172#msg9323172

It was then that I realized that cryptsy was runned by scammers.. (see same link).
A year ago one could recognize the cryptsy scammers by their cryptsy logo in their avatars. Unfortunately a lot of them (including spoetnik has changed their avatar).

Edit:
I saw in this thread also a few references to CAPS (a coin created by Mullic and called by many an "in house cryptsy scam coin" and scammed by BitJohn). In the following thread some background information about CAPS:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=860379.msg9609654#msg9609654

Spoetnik has secrets, but he wasn't ever involved with cryptsy. in fact, from the day i signed up at cryptsy, spoetnik was already there harrassing people and being generally intolerable. Not sure if he had a good hunch, or he just threw shit at the wall to see what would stick, but he was right here. this might be the only time he's been right. Great Job Diabeetus Welfare Sleuth. What would the world do without you

Pff r3wt..the person with the most funniest announcement at bitcointalk ever for a coin. How many threads you needed to announce Nanotoken? And how much Nanotoken did you need to pre-mine before launch? r3wt is among many other coins the developer of Nanotoken, and guess what? despite the crap all over in the announcements Nanotoken was of course listed at cryptsy...with the help of bitjohn and big vern.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=301185.msg3250573#msg3250573

Why are there so many copy coin cloners in this thread (I noticed thunderjet, r3wt, igotspots etcetc), whose coins are listed at cryptsy? They have no market anymore for their copy cloned coins? Just wondering...

I still don't know why you're harassing me with this shit. I was NEVER top echelon at Cryptsy, NEVER corporate. I've always been a low to mid-level employee. I understand looking into corporate level, but just because I have my face out there as PR last couple of months youre busting my balls. Again, I have done fuck all wrong and you keep staying on me as a topic. If a big bank fucks someone over, do you investigate the investigators? Makes no sense and y'all are grasping at straws now. I don't know why you have such a fuckin' hard on for me, I ain't that pretty Wink

Maybe we'll leave you alone if you explain what the fuck you were "investigating" while 13k coins disappeared and point us to who and what was done to "investigate" that.

Why did you tell people that things would be ok when they obviously weren't? We will not help you out from under the bus until you throw someone else under it, which if you were honest you would do to the people that pushed you there.

There's only 2 explanations for the head of investigations being out of the loop on this, and neither one is good for you, so if you don't want to be treated like an incompetent person (didn't know) or a scammer (knew and were lying) you need to start providing an alternative explanation.

Guys cryptsy security is awesome... they have never been hacked they stated this even after the hack happened 1 year earlier. Morons like JudgeDredd harped on this band wagon as well... and now that its gone south he's bullshitting about how in hangouts he was saying the contrary... so which is it judge? You wouldn't stand by your word in the troll box so either you are a self admitted hypocrite and likely to be one in the future or you are a liar and a half. I'm betting on the later plus a half cup of you being full of shit on all you say.

Ask Horus.. he never said he was wrong just wow it was a surprise to him.

Horus had plenty of time to resign over the issues. There was 4 months of that shit. 1 year in IT is 10 years the real world so whats 4 months? O I believed my boss that didn't communicate back... no worries though i'm getting my weekly paycheck so I should believe them.

Horus's integrity was secondary to his weekly wage. Unless he can comment otherwise.

Wut?

You need better lobes.. Wink

My newly invented universal craptsy shill/sock translator will help you understand ! Grin

Among many? If you want to speak in terms of facts, I have only ever made 3 coins.Thats if you count shitcoin which was a joke, paid for by Vlad2Vlad as a mockery of "the scene".Thats also if you count Nanotokens, which was made by muddafudda, as has already been discussed on this forum years ago. If you're gonna talk shit atleast state the facts. NAN and OSC were my coins. There are a ton of shitcloners with a ton of coins under their belt, but i'm not one of em.

Why am i posting in this thread? Why don't you take a wild fucking guess. Cryptsy crashed, my coins all became worthless i panicked and tried to sale and couldn't get anything out. now i have vested interest in finding out what happens, and this thread is the prime source of that info for now.

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

Horus, just a question, your feeling, at wthat point and Cryptsy with our coins!

I'm sorry , I do not understand the question. As far as coins, Cryptsy opened some for withdrawal earlier today, and I believe more will open in next couple of days. As far as exact details, like which coins when,  I do not know, that is just what I heard. Thank you.

Isn't it about time for you to just shut the fuck up and go hide with BV? Seriously... what are you doing with your continued posts? You're not going to save face and despite your interpretation of the situation, you're involved and at fault. You openly stated you thought something was off and threatened to resign but didn't. That's some weak shit right there sir. And I won't even speculate as to what kept you from making good on your threat, but one could surmise you got a chunk of the stolen coins to keep your mouth shut. Seriously dude, every additional post just makes you look worse especially since you can't seem to decide whether or not you still work for Cryptsy.

Horus what exactly does your lofty title "Head of Anti-Fraud and Investigations" entail when circa 6 million dollars of coins magically escape from the vaults? Did you investigate this or did you command one of your "underlings" to do so, you being the head of that team of yours? Funds fucked off out of Cryptsy what was it, end of July 2014, Mollusik or whatever his name is, the other useless dunce only corrects the github in April 2015.  What were you guys doing from July through April. Sitting around giggling Hey where did that 6 mil. vanish to Paul, oh I dunno Horus, ask Mollusik. What were doing all this time Horus, sitting on the troll box or investigating. How did your "investigations" go exactly. Holmes or Clouseau? Then you hang around here whining it wasn't me, I have no say, I am no one. Just getting my paycheck like everyone else. Pathetic. And you dare to leave this bullshit title on your profiles? Like its a feather in your cap ""Head of Anti-Fraud and Investigations" of Cryptsy, I Horus the Sun, while 6 million dollars were snatched from beneath my nose.

Idiot.

He was hired as a scapegoat. You're just bullying a pawn

Did anybody ever confirm or deny that Horus was residing at Cryptsy's Canadian office-cum-residence?

I imagine there are only a handful of Scottish redheads named 'John' who live in Toronto, within 2 blocks of [censored]...

"Erected to God and dedicated to the Holy Saints John."

Any Brothers wanna come out and play?

Here's my new theory: Everybody serving in the top echelon of Cryptsy is in on the heist with intent of splitting the booty.

Question: Which one of you fucks are goin' to spill the beans before I spill them for yous where ALL amnesties WILL be off the table after I start a singin'?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN6ngThqMEs

https://www.facebook.com/MacJohn123

Come on, Brothers. Play fair! Don't be lockin' down your Facebook pages and changin' your profiles while I'm on the hunt.

Seriously? Masonic symbol to Spiderman? Surely, you could do better than that, can't you? Is Spiderman a metaphor for "Oh, what a tangled web we weave." Or is it a metaphor for Leonard Cohen's "I'm standing on a ledge and your fine spider web is fastening my ankle to a stone."?

Somebody please confirm that one of Mac John's friends looks familiar.

Bump, in case anybody missed it last night.

Also found during the same time from was connecting BitJohn is a serial scammer on this board and a very, very strong candidate for one of Paul Vernon's nyms operating a bitcoin-theme auction site, the latter needing to be dug into some more having just made the connection.

He is basically customer service, they dont hand him the keys to the kingdom.   Your post makes zero difference, this news would have leaked out years ago if they let every member of staff know they were cruising on empty.
Who had access to wallets, if it wasnt him then he likely didnt know and its likely they didnt tell anyone who didnt need to know because of the bank run scenario and because they hoped to burn off the lost coins hole by outgrowing the problem.  That was feasible, bitcoin does have immense growth but it didnt happen to go that way and the whole market dropped off in the same year they lost those coins

Thank you.
