Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Article about how Expanse is a community driven smart contract platform. Yes, it uses Ethereum technology, but who wouldn't as its the best solution for running the network. It has many other aspects that differs it from ETH. There was no ICO, the DAO, the community based approach, and they have the ability to be more experimental and change based on what the community wants.

Expanse Partners with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Bizspark Plus

We are proud to announce our exciting new partnerships with Microsoft: Microsoft Azure BaaS & Microsoft BizSpark Plus!

Azure is Microsoft’s growing collection of integrated cloud services: a collection of powerful solutions for analytics, computing, database, mobile, networking, storage, and web technologies. We are excited to be added as a partner the Azure Blockchain as a Service(BaaS) platform. This partnership will benefit Microsoft and Expanse users alike, facilitating powerful solutions leveraging the services of Azure with the power of Expanse’s blockchain.

In addition to the Azure BaaS partnership, Expanse has been officially selected as a member of the Microsoft Bizspark program. The program is designed to stimulate vibrant local software ecosystems and promote innovation and interoperability. As part of the partnership, Microsoft will be contributing 120,000USD in software and services, as well as a vast collection of other professional resources to the Expanse project.

We are enthusiastic about what the future brings from this partnership, and devoted to continuing to seek out the absolute best partners whom support community based blockchain solutions.

WTF!

You really get 120.000 USD from Microsoft and you are the first coin on bizspark?  Shocked Shocked Shocked

This is like a jackpot for this coin.

It looks like! I'm only wondering why markets did not reacted.

I was commenting on the post above that the markets did react to the news.

You can sing up for Microsoft Azure  for free i did. You get Free one-month trial Sign up for free and get $200 to spend on all Azure services .I've met Paul Allen  and Bill gates  when i delivered a yacht to his home back in 2003 nice guys but i have a hard time believing they would get on board with something as small as this project i could be wrong but there's not enough money in it for them to want to even mess with it

Do you really think those who are in for a quick profit care about all of this? Make some news, get a pump done, cash out and enjoy the show.

people are wising up most likely.. you can only hype so many coins before people become skeptical to say the least.

allow me to give you a look at what the community has dealt with over the last few years.http://listofaltcoins.com/index.php/Main_Page. What is amazing to me is that its still working Huh

Can you give me a list of changes that have been made to EXP since it has been forked from ETH please?

I'm looking for a coin to invest in but need more input on the amount/quality of development that has been going on here.

Can someone please reply to my question?

I checked out these two repositories:

https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum
http://www.github.com/expanse-project/go-expanse.git

ran a diff and excluded everything that was just a changed name. Not much left there. Need some hints where to look for it.

Now as this coin is on azure I want to invest as soon as possible, but only after I've done my own research.
