There are 2 people on this forum that have more than 150k MH/s

Gigavps has 4 BFL minirigs and a giant GPU farm.
Total more than 200k MH/s.
Darkice has 6 BFL minirigs. I don't know how big his GPU farm is.
But he has at least 150k MH/s.

Asic is not out yet

You may be correct. Perhaps they are doing tests for the new protocol.

Apparently so....

Per the #gpumax channel topic on freenode:

<pirateat40> GPUMAX will be down on 10/08 at 12:00 AM CST.  The system may or may not come back up depending on the new owners.

1) Why are you calling it 200k MH/s? Wouldn't 200GH/s be easier? Sorry, pet peeve.

2) A large FPGA and/or GPU farm could get that high, so it's not unreasonable.

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9

It couldn't be a proxy pool mining, no way that could EVER happen. Roll Eyes
Its not like someone could get a bunch of miners at their pool and proxy that work to another pool. ID10T

not sure if you are being sarcastic or misguided.

ABCpool is a proxy that does just that - it shares its load between several pools and has no bitcoind of its own to mine against
there are several other proxy services, tho from my understanding they are more hopping proxies than anything and do not call themselves "pool".

I cant see the point of using something like gpumax or hashpower.com where you pay >100% PPS to mine on a PPS pool that pays <100% (sure fire no-brainer loser that). Those gambling sites are for use with pools that have variance or luck - that's what ppl gamble on.

people do have this much hashpower - get used to it, fpga and fpga minirigs are still being delivered.
not sure if these threads have any value or are just about envy - how does it really matter who has how much hashrate?

Also recently BTCGuild is one of 2 pools supporting stratum - designed for high hashrate hardware - why wouldn't someone finding it works well switch their whole farm to stratum? instead of the more anonymous way of loadsharing between several pools.

I dont think threadstarter is envy. I think he only thought that this must imply someone has the first asics ready.

I guess you missed the bit about paying more than 100%PPS to mine on a pool that pays 95%PPS (5% fee). it isn't gpumax - thier IRC chanel is pretty much dead but what is being said is "no leasing" lately.

yeah sigh, lately any time someone notices a high hashrate user a new thread pops up asking the same question, also all of the ASIC manufacturers have said they will not be burning in or testing on main net.

NOTICE: GPUMAX will continue to operate as usual until further notice. There has been no sale or change of ownership.

This is stated on #gpumax

Why would anyone mine there?  They invented that BS IOCoin and IXCoin and fucking some other bullshit-troll-coin.  If I had an ASIC, I'd go anywhere else.
