Isn't this just a variation of Martingale?  Except it is probably worse than Martingale?

If you want to increase it, (I am not a stats person but just thinking) to say 90% and play on an increase in loss wouldn't you have better results as you are far less likely to lose on 90% win change and increase bet by some amount, again not a math person.  I am just trying to think this out logically it would make more sense to do it this way.

Correct me if I am wrong, but that is what I gathered from the strategy.
