trickyFaucet, Can we expect some new features in the near future?

there's no wallet improvement needed actually
I don't know why most developers improving wallets adding to stable software some freaky usability
TrickyCoin wallet (Qt and daemon version) working fine, design is a little bit tricky but still ok for now
so, no plans about adding any improvements to wallet at the moment

I have 3 ideas about TrickyCoin future and working on it. It's about kind of diversification of TrickyCoin.
I don't like bullshitting another investors, so there is no announces about future whatever. and never will be.

make. test. announce. that's how it works.

Is there a good list of node because synchronization is really slow at the moment? Guess there is only one working node at the moment.

no. it's not.

you may add all node-ips manualy (try to lookup node.trickycoin.com address)

Code:
Server:
8.8.8.8
Non-authoritative answer:

Name:
node.trickycoin.com
Addresses:
2401:1801:7800:101:be76:4eff:fe18:856
2401:1800:7800:101:be76:4eff:fe1c:201d
119.9.76.49
192.99.72.111
119.9.12.5
192.99.84.204

Adding nodes wouldn't speed up the process. There's 200K+ blocks, be patient.

Is there a good list of node because synchronization is really slow at the moment? Guess there is only one working node at the moment.

Here's a solution.
Stop your wallet, delete everything except wallet.dat & TrickyCoin.conf from
Code:
Windows - %AppData%\TrickyCoin
*UX - ~/.TrickyCoin
download and extract blocks data from here http://www.trickycoin.com/dl/blocks/latest.zip

start you wallet again.

reindex/rescanning process may take a while depending on your wallet operations count
less than a minute for fresh wallets

It's well known that kaspersky easily unpacks UPX files... (can be found here http://www.trickycoin.com/dl/1.0.2.0/TrickyCoin-Qt-UPX.zip )

By my research, they are false positives.

Kaspersky removes wallet without asking... So... This is needed to get respond from their lab anyway.

UPX compressed wallet still OK. Kaspersky is awesome!

You can whitelist it from within kaspersky.
I'd submit fp reports to both mcafee and kaspersky.

I still have no answer nor from c-cex support neither yobit support (about wallet maintenance).

UPD. warden (yobit) said the TRICK problem tickets will be updated until end of the day. Actually I don't know what doest it mean. But it's good to know at least a dead-line.

The block explorer does work, I've just tested it.

So we're thinking about offering TRICK for burn redemption with BARR.  You can find more details at barr.me, and we'd like someone to be the TrickyCoin Community Representative for BARR.  Anybody interested?  There's not much work involved - you just speak for the TrickyCoin community and let us know if you think we're doing anything unfair.

If we do offer TRICK for burn redemption, the TRICK burn address will be:  T9yD14Nj9j7xAB4dbGeiX9h8unkKHxuWwb

This is a verifiably unspendable burn address, because its outputs show too many zeroes and can never be spent (some block explorers recognize this type of address as a burn address, but I don't think our TrickyCoin explorer does that automatically).  So any coins sent to this address can be considered destroyed.

Are there any new developments??

was away a bit

started fixing some technical stuff...
added c-cex market data to explorer
http://explorer.trickycoin.com/markets/ccex
now fixing explorer (wrong orphan blocks processing)
https://github.com/iquidus/explorer/issues/22

updated all 4 nodes (to ubuntu willy)
now you can see effective staking profit value for absolute fresh coins
(each node started with 100K @ 25 oct 2015)

http://explorer.trickycoin.com/address/TAcqzde7aQqUNpoL7efz217hZRyaM5sv9W
http://explorer.trickycoin.com/address/TKosrxEjFXS7mWxn2TDo3r3YWt31bgGg5R
http://explorer.trickycoin.com/address/TVpJeLENP4uvDGHMAvdzJwiVM24LAzDWdJ
http://explorer.trickycoin.com/address/TQD3FNCv4e8No3CX2Sje7o9G6via1YFnn8

not much progress to show yet.

There is much more elegant way to TRULY burn any coins (not sending 'em to practically unreverseable address)
Like in this transaction: burned 1.15918023 TRICK.

A burn address allows people to burn their coins by withdrawing them directly from an exchange.

Also, it allows everyone to easily verify that the coins have been sent to the burn address, without having to check hundreds of separate transactions or addresses.

Agree. Using unspendable address is the best choice in case you want to burn coins.
Disagree. Burning coins (or denomination) is not an option for DEcentralized currency.

Yes, but isn't it the best option if people want to permanently transfer their coins to a different network?

Definitely NOT!
This can't be done without any authorities. Which is (again) not an option for DEcentralized currency.
Minimal authority regulated option is to sell oldies/buy newbies. Did you ever seen shredded banknotes at currency exchange office?

How can you guarantee this transfer transaction? So much more when sending coins to unspendable address from currency-exchange (sometimes having 100+ input addresses in a single transaction)? Should this be named Proof-of-honour-word?

Yes, the government does shred old money and replace it with new money.

It would be great if you could just sell your old coins and buy new ones, but what if nobody is buying?  Even if someone does buy your coins, then they are the ones left with worthless coins if the network dies.

So when a coin moves to a new network, how do you think people should transfer their old coins to the new coin in a way that doesn't allow people to hold the old coin for free?

You can call it taking someone's word, but all transactions are publicly available on a decentralized blockchain.  No need to take anyone's word.

Yes. The goverment. Who's the government of (once again) DEcentralized currency world? You?
Did you ever seen anyone who shred old USDollars and get new EURos instead?

No need to take anyone's word.

How can you confirm that burned coins was sent by exact person in case coins sent from currency-exchange (with a hundred input addresses)?
How can you proof that anyone actually will get at least any coin for each burned one? can you? yes! with Proof-of-honoured-word.

Can you read (twice maybe) and understand my question before answering. I'm a little bit stuck repeating almost exact same questions each time.
More than that. Stop bullshitting here. Do your "job" elsewhere. Thank you.

Well it's not just the government that controls the money and shreds it, but also banks.

And yes, people take old money to banks and exchange it for newer bills.  They can also exchange dollars for euros.  I'm sorry you don't know how banks work.

And decentralized currency allows us to be our own banks.  Do you disagree with that?  Do you think I have the right to do whatever I want with my own cryptocurrency?

Are you the bank or the government, since you're the one generating new coins?  You act like you are in control of all TrickyCoins.  Is it decentralized, or not?  Make up your mind.  If it's decentralized, then you're not the boss.

I'm sorry you're wrong, but I can't stop you from being wrong.

We do confirm which burned coins were sent by which exact person, we do prove that everyone has received the proper amount of BARR in return, and we've already burned 45% of the entire supply of Sapience AIFX coins.

If TRICK holders want to benefit from a BARR exchange, allowing them to sell or exchange their worthless TRICK coins that nobody else wants, then you can't stop them.

Don't try to be the government or the bank for TRICK holders.  You do not make the laws for them to follow.

Do whatever you want to do with whatever you own. But you do not own my opinion. That's all.
By the way, banks have no right to "burn" any kind of money. More than that it's a federal crime in bunch of countries. So... actually you don't know how it works.

Are you the bank or the government, since you're the one generating new coins?  You act like you are in control of all TrickyCoins.  Is it decentralized, or not?  Make up your mind.  If it's decentralized, then you're not the boss.

I'm not controlling anything and not forcing you or anyone else to do something. I've jusk asked you to stop shitting in this thread, unfortunately you can't.

I'm not asking "do you" or "do not". I'm asking HOW. Technically. HOW??? And this is THIRD time I'm repeating the same f*cking question you can't answer.

Don't try to be the government or the bank for TRICK holders.  You do not make the laws for them to follow.

It's not a regulation and I can't and don't want to force anyone to do anything. I'm just have my own opinion and ASKING you questions you can't answer.

Some more questions. Where's the BARR blockchain explorer? Proof-of-whatever algorythm description?
Once again... Stop shitting right here. Don't force me to ask ALL my questions in BARR thread. Thank you for understanding and cooperation.
And unthank you for wasting my time.

Update:

We never handle people's altcoins.  They send their coins to a burn address, directly from their own wallet, or they can withdraw directly from an exchange to the burn address.  Then they prove that the coins were destroyed by showing their transaction ID.  Then we transfer the BARR to them.

Now I found the description of your extraordinary algorythm. No answer needed! You're awesome.

Other TRICK holders might not think it's a waste of time for BARR to increase the value of TRICK and offer an exchange for their coins.

You must have taken a decentralized vote of all TRICK holders before being hostile towards BARR, because otherwise it would look like you're trying to maintain some kind of centralized control over what happens to TRICK.

I mustn't anything here. Anyone may and should do whatever he want to anything he owns. (I'm continiusly repeating myself and THAT's the cause of wasting my time)
Burn coins, shitting in any thread he wants.
But my opinion isn't wrong or right. It's mine.

You have yours. Which is BARR is the best and only. Ok then. Are you done advertising multi-super-unique-VIP coin here?

You don't have to trust anyone.  Just look at the market charts for ACP and LYB since they were announced for a BARR exchange.

And then look at the delisting notice for Trickycoin.

You and your posts here are the reason why TRICK holders didn't get to sell for 10X profit this month.

What is the reason Yobit's TRICK wallet has been under maintenance for so long, preventing holders at C-Cex from sending their delisted coins to Yobit, so that Trickycoin cannot be traded on any exchange?
