Bitcoin develops like cancer, continues to grow and can't be regulated by anyone, every month on my national tv there is always news about drug transactions using bitcoin, even the wearer is from the artist and businessmen, but still the government doesn't prohibit the use of bitcoin. I feel that the bitcoin line-drug transaction path through the dark road can't be watched frontally, but can be investigated through the transport bureau of the sender. Here the supervision comes into force and gets tighter in the future.

As decentralized currency, Bitcoin is used by hackers and used to buy illegal things like drugs and so on. But nowadays there is a lot of valuable crypto currencies, used to buy such things as well.

People buy drugs with money. Point period blank. It doesn't matter if that money is Fiat, bitcoin, or freaking Tide detergent, I shit you not.

Never in my life that i buy drugs using my bitcoin even my own money because in my country it is very illegal here to use drugs or to sell drugs, i will be dead if i buy drugs. In first i started using bitcoin until now i never ever buy drugs cause all we know that its illegal and it can harm you and you will die early. Same as you, I will use my precious bitcoin into a much sensical, a far more important things than buying these drugs which has no real benefit. I'm just new with bitcoins but I already do have some background on it. I'm never ever going to buy drugs using bitcoins because I don't even buy drugs using cash. Other people might have been using bitcoins to do so, but the majority of people are still using paper money to buy drugs.

My thought about the subject is that other people associated bitcoin too much on illegal transactions. It has made bitcoin sound both cool and dangerous. Cool to those people that want to sound like they use drugs and they are related to crime stuffs even when they are not. On the other hand, it sounds dangerous that other people don't want to even just start using it.

An individualdecides for himself how to spend his bitcoins. I think today it is possible to buy whatever with crypto currencies, in some place you have to cash out your bitcoins at first, normally. To me bitcoin is the one saurse of money nowadays, just like a salary. So, I am spending this money for food, roof and entertaiments (drugs are not one of them   )

Even in real world, imagine if all the drug users goes to jail. That's one big portion of the population. When you arrest every drug user including those that only use it every now and then, then jail cells will be filled up. I guess it's one of the reasons why they don't arrest each and everyone of them. They only catch the big fishes. There are cases when inmates get out of jail earlier than expected because of overcrowding.

The police people do not have the time to search all these small time drug users and drug sellers. Only ones they really try to find are those that are involved in huge crimes like Silk Road.

If you buy drugs using bitcoin make sure to it that it's not a prohibited type or an illegal drugs. I know bitcoin can be prone to illegal trading of drugs because it's very anonymous. We are now very hot about illegal drugs special in out country, so we should be careful on transactions specially drug related and be sure that you have a legitimate persons to deal with. Avoid this kind of transaction if needed and better buy drugs at your local area drug stores.

Yeah, nowadays a lot of people have a bitcoin wallet, what if the drug lords have also a bitcoin wallet? Of course there is a possibility to use bitcoin as their payment to buy drugs. We will not know their transactions because we also don't know if one of this signature campaigns is also a pusher. There are many legal drugs that are highly addictive such as oxycontin or morphine (or any optiate), and there are illegal drugs that are not addictive at all (lsd, psilocybin mushrooms, cannabis, dmt, etc.).

The government is not looking out for your health by making non-pharmaceutical drugs illegal.  Most deaths in the states are from completely legal drugs (tobacco, alchohol, prescription drugs).

There will be no illegal drugs when all drugs are legalized.  Doesn't make sense to put anyone in jail for doing drugs in their own house.

What you refer to as "big fish" are organized crime, meaning they are part of the system we are in.  There is no removing them unless drugs are legalized.  Prohibition has failed miserably throughout history.

Personally, i think it sux that Bitcoin is used for this, but it's the same with guns, gotta take the good with the bad it's just a tool, as humans how we USE it is up to us! When i think about it i would never use a crypto at all, except maybe XMR or w.e, as using Bitcoin leaves a "money trail" you can't erase! lol
That's why i always think it's funny when they say Bitcoin is used for bad shit, ya cause criminals want a money trail, they use cash, it can be counterfeited and is untraceable mostly.
