The future of the paper money

If paper money is going to be phased out, I expect it to be replaced by conventional banks as we know it now. Pay with plastic, not with bitcoin.
But as long as there is a need for a private payment, and I think there will always be one, people will come up with other things. It could be paper money from a different country, good-old-gold, or cryptocurrencies. Its a simple fact that I don't want all my transactions to be seen by a bank/government.

I agree with you, we are fighting now with the government that is trying to stop bitcoin. So why would they use it. They will make something but I am 100% it will not be bitcoin. This can become a commodity but not fiat.

Well if you look at some futuristic movies theres no paper money there and thats where we are heading right now.

Paper money will not be completely banned. What will happen is the legalization of the digital money thus giving options to the people either to transact through the paper one or digital based.  Digital currency and to be specific, bitcoins when accepted  by a majority of countries.

Yeah people who find using paper money easy will use it in future too, and spending bitcoin might be a little complicated for them as they lack knowledge about it.

yeah agree. bitcoin might become popular and many people using bitcoin. but it will not make the peper money to be disappearing. paper money is always welcome This is not ancient fashion. but paper money has existed since time immemorial

We can never have bitcoin in physical form and that's what above mate is trying to say, that even if we can hold bitcoin physically it will not reduce the users of paper money.

That's right, the older people would have a hard time adopting bitcoin, probably their mind is not open anymore to this new technology and that gives the paper money an assurance that it will live long..
